I’d rather win my match before the Finals. Yet, I have the sinking suspicion that we’ll be picking between two of our friends to send to fight each other to the death.
I have no friends so Perfect I would grab Fried Chipmunk bits "for the show
The Chipmunk is too young to participate.
NOT to eat it though Saturn favorite flavor
Says who? We can just use magic to make them older!
There are the Trials and Duels, no?
You have to succede the Trials independently of the duels, or am I completely wrong?
Maybe the Gods will pit the demi-gods participating the trials against one another but those fight will be until K.O. Only the last duel will be to the death.
The duels are like a little intermede to entertain all of Olympus, yay!
P.s: Because of @poison_mara I can’t remember the name of TheChipmunk!
Chipmunk goes well for him her, I was about to buy her a wheel
Edit Each time Our roommate is cited I read
That never turns out well. Remember when Chibi-Moon was older for some reason I don’t remember and then she turned back into a child and kissed a unicorn?
The worst is that I actually like TheChipmunk! But I cannot take her/him seriously anymore!
sinks an embarrassing amount of hours playing Kingdom Hearts: Unchained X while waiting for the update
Also, I imagine Rohie’s mug is filled with a mix of our tears and truth tea
She’ll probably have more than enough to last her at least 3 chapters’ worth after this update :))
The weekend is drawing close and I’m too excited for this update tbh. Gosh. The moment we’ve all been waiting for:
Hermes: Zeus, are you their father?
//drumroll ensues
//Audience (ft. everyone in Olympus) noises of either yes/no
//Saint and co are making bets
//Hera looks pissed (as usual)
//MC is at the edge of the couch
//drumroll stops
Hermes: AND WE’LL TELL YOU AFTER THE COMMERCIAL BREAK
(hopefully) Sunday night please come soon
If Zeus is indeed my character’s father, I can already tell you how the chips are gonna fall:
Zeus: “I’am your father.”
Me:
ANNNND… I cannot wait to see what Aeson is like!
That’s also how I understood it, along with only the final duel being to the death.
My MC is so looking forward to duelling people (end sarcasm). ^^ Every single duel she’ll be in will pretty much be her going “I don’t want to fight you…I don’t want to fight you!” during the the entire fight.
But her will to live (and pure stubbornness) will force her to continue. She’ll do whatever she can to prevent the final duel from being to the death, but she will win (no noble sacrifices here).
My MC is similar. She’ll try as much as possible to not hurt anyone – or as much as she can anyway. She’ll just try to incapacitate them, and if the gods try to force her hand to kill, she’ll give them the (figurative) middle finger.
It’s kinda like that scene in the Book of Life: “KILLING THE BULL IS WRONG”
[and if we’re also being honest, she’s likely to pull a Manolo by taking the third way out if possible]
BUT if we really have to kill someone off, because game mechanics, she’s going to make sure it’s painless and then chew out the gods for doing this. She hates violence. I mean, she spent the last few years immersed in it one way or the other – dodging seekers and almost killing one – and she’d rather not continue that kind of life.
Lord. The trials are so going to break her. I can feel it.
Not sure how I’m going to play it. I had originally planned for the battles to be forced if your fellow Demigods voted you in, but now I’m thinking of making it so if you fail a trial, you battle. And yes, the battle to the death is the final battle.
I need to work on the timeline, because in the last update you were told the trial was in less than two days, then in CH5 it’s the next day, so by that logic, the trial is the next day after that, but I haven’t even had the ceremony. It seems like a lot for your poor Demigods.
So, I’ll have to edit some things. But either way, the ceremony is after you meet Aeson and your father is revealed.
Will we have some way to avoid killing anyone in this final battle?
(I assume we will, but I’ve got to ask.)
I’m a longstanding lurker to this thread (well, a couple of weeks, anyway), and I felt like playing again, because I’m super excited for the update (my birthday is Sunday, so it’s like an extra-special present :D)
When suddenly, I noticed a pretty subtle typo.
I thought you might want to know of that! C:
Running on coffee brain. Could you please point it out? (Also, happy birthday!)
Also, on progress; I am 75-ish% done. So I might do a late nighter and publish Saturday morning. (I know you all just want to know who your dad is, and that part is already coded.)
