My daddy is usually Poseidon, but brb gonna change it to Hades so I can get the gun in The Trials and secretly headcanon that this happens when Sage threatens MC with the machete.

Sage does hesitate if the Bearer has a gun. 
If the Bearer has the spear or the pill, she doesn’t remotely hesitate to attack them if they try to retaliate in turn due to the fact she held a machete to their throats and flat out threatened them.
Heck, if I’m remembering it correctly, she doesn’t even attempt to attack the Hades Bearer once they have the gun pointed straight at her in retaliation to her machete threat.

To be fair, she could lose/die instantly if mc use gun

True, but it’s probably going to feel REALLY satisfying for anyone playing a Hades Bearer to pull out the gun and actually make her reluctant to carry out her threat.

My favorite is Hades, but since I’m not willing to have my PC kill anyone, it’s Poseidon for me anyway

HADES!!! I love him. He’s a lot more genuine than the others, who distance themselves or use their children as trophies. He made a genuine effort to be a part of the Bearer’s life. In the scene where he leaves, you can tell that he is actually upset about having to leave the Bearer. Before the bug messed up the parentage scene, and automatically made Poseidon your father regardless of your stats, it was so sweet when my Bearer found out that Hades was her dad. It never seems like Hades has an ulterior motives when he’s talking to the Bearer (unlike a certain wisdom goddess).
I hate Poseidon because of that series. I don’t know why, but I never liked him. Even though Hades could be a total jerk to people in the Percy Jackson series, he was still my favorite. He’s easy to relate to.

I mean…Zeus is the one has the most kids of all the gods…yeah, I can see him using the blue pill.
