She’s a prophet, and foretold the prophecy. We don’t know too much abt her yet, though : - )
Why come? It definitely seems justifiable, IMO.
My Hades!Bearer feels latent guilt, to a certain extent and understands Sage’s fury, but loathes her because she views our first interaction with her as an attempt on her life. She’s too collected to reciprocate in kind, and recognizes that attacking Sage probably isn’t going to win her any points. Even if she does, it’ll be after the transfer because she’s not physically strong enough to overpower her, nor is she the type to engage in physical confrontation. She’d probably just make Sage regret it somehow, or resort to intimidation or humiliation.
My Zeus!Bearer wants to apologize, and probably practices a strong policy of all around avoidance. She feels like she owes Sage an explanation, @ the very least.
My MC is already paranoid and think everyone is out to kill her. Sage doesn’t exactly prove her wrong. The fact that Sage can get away with strangling her in a cafeteria and face no consquences (at least what we see) for it proves to Nyx that nobody is going to listen to her side of the story.
Add to the fact that Nyx didn’t kill Saxon, something she regrets and, yeah, she and Sage is never going to get along.
I have to wonder if continuously debating a game to the point of several thousand posts past its most recent update is, like, worth it??? No new information, whatsoever has been given, and, like, people are fighting and hurting each other’s feelings. Over a game. Seems a bit ridiculous. Sometimes I feel disappointed in humanity.
Hurting people and attacking them over a difference in opinion is one of those times. smh
Well define faithful. In my book random ransom another god and rape her until submission because no one wanted to be with you in hell, is not beinfa good husband . Depends of versions ancient ones were not about him being faithful. that cames witj romantic movement obsession for make him a tragic romantic hero.
He never cheated on her until the romans came along. So in the original myths he was faithful.
It changes whether she ate the seeds willingly or if he tricked her, since the myth focuses on her mother’s reaction to it anyway. Either way they seem perfectly happy after.
Also again it’s called “The Rape of Persephone” because he kidnapped her, not the same meaning as today.
Zeus seem perfectly happy with Hera. Aphrodite with our Smith friend. Greek gods never were about happy ever after. The fact a female figure in Greek culture don’t say anything about the situation does not mean she is happy. It means that the culture who created the myth was totally against women. Rape was rape en Grecoroman culture the meaning is the same. Greek had a traditional fetish to rape ransom and then marry forcefully the poor girl that or die.
No he doesn’t. He cheats on her all the time, she wasn’t even his first pick as a wife. And she is notably unhappy with it too, with his infidelelity, it’s her defining character trait.
Aphrodite with our Smith friend
Nor does she as she’d rather be with Ares, the guy everyone hates. They’re both unhappy with it as he doesn’t like being cheated on and she doesn’t want to be married.
The term rape originates in the Latin rapere (supine stem raptum), “to snatch, to grab, to carry off”.
Ejem because when they rape women they were very happy and satisfied To be taken and sex assault. Irony doesn’t go well with internet lol. My last comment was ironic. I sorry cannot forget all the real time mess up stuff both societies did to women and rape was banging forcefully back then just they consider something normal you grab what you can as women was like a cow or a goat.
Ahh, I should’ve guessed by the
Greek gods never were about happy ever after.

but the
The fact a female figure in Greek culture don’t say anything about the situation does not mean she is happy.

threw me off.
I think that was specifically something for the poor or slaves. It was still a crime against “citizens” I believe.
Also we forgot about our good friend Eros/Cupid he had a loving consensual relationship and a happy ending.
I used to admire Hera, Athena and Aphrodite when i was a child. Now i dislike Hera and Aphrodite
Especially when Aphrodite manipulated her sister during the flash back! I was good friends with her and Aphrodite manipulated her just for her own selfish reasons.
This discussion seems like it is either going nowhere or somewhere none of us want to be, so let’s try finding something else to talk about?
Like, in game, Cronus is getting a lot of foreshadowing. But is he really going to end up as the villain? It’s almost like he’s getting too much press before the main event.
It is much like the Infinity thread in that sense. The masses will run through their cycle of gossip and controversy as they wait for each update. This WiP attracts passionate and willful followers
Let’s hope @Rohie’s schedule is advancing as she planned and the long awaited day is soon arriving.
I feel Cronus has been overused as a villain. Make it someone who is just as powerful but someone who is overlooked. Like nemesis or typhon or Helios. Most forms of media portray Cronus or Gaia as the big bad. I’d love to see typhon fighting a child of Poseidon Bearer at close to full power. It would be a clash of titans. Then again if Cronus is used to the best of his personality: paranoid, egomaniacal, and sounding like some wise old douchebag then I would love to have be the bid bad.
Yet, as the bestower of the MC’s powers, Cronus can end up the hero not just the villain. We only have the older version of the story that’s public to base things on but as of right now, the gods in Olympus seem to be the villains, willing or not.
Sorry, you’ve probably gotten enough answers, but I still wanted to pop in my two cents.
I dislike her because she insists on disliking me. To clarify, that isn’t me being petty, it’s me being rightfully agitated about being accused of murder, and said accuser seeming hellbent on killing me as punishment for a crime I didn’t commit.
I can understand being heartbroken about your sibling’s death. Hell, I’d likely be the same if I were in her place! But, the others try to reason with her, but she refuses to listen. Cally, though not to the same degree, has also lost loved ones presumably at the hands of the MC. She tried to hurt us, sure, but now she’s our friend (depending on how you played)! Sage? NOPE.
That is my reason for not liking Sage. Maybe in the future, once we get to see more of her plot development, I’ll feel some urge to grow closer to her as a friend, ally, and potential RO. But right now? The only way I would…
Fuck her.
