Children of the Gods (Important poll #12306)

Hades is the best dad, in my opinion. I still prefer Athena over Hades, but you have a valid point where you say
I doubt Athena would risk Zues locating her and us to let Hades know we’re we are. So what if he still wanted to visit but couldn’t find us?
Very nice point that you bring out there, granted there is obviously something that the two of them are hiding from you, even though every God is hiding something from the MC, there is something especially suspicious about them.

On a sidenote, I can’t believe I’m seeing heated arguments, on a choice of games thread!

:grinning:

I must’ve been gone for a very long time

I like them both  Hades is my real father and Athena is my real mom cuz I love them both

Lol  just wanted a excuse to use this image. But yah they are all hiding something no doubt.

Lol this is a big topic on this WIP. A lot of heated discussions like this.

No he didn’t know until Hermes captured Athena then they discovered that he knew all along. And Athena has something to bargain and blackmail him remember she forced him to help her.

If Zeus had known we were in Olympus. Hades is very intelligent and subtle. He played a role like the uncle ( Without matter if he is our dad or not) To influence BOTH Aeson and us. When Aeson become orphan it becomes free for him to take,a demigod that doesn’t have other god control him. So he was more useful than us So he decided that we aren’t worthwhile the risk of being caught and suffering Athena punishment…

Well I was talking about my interpretation in my game. Remember this is a CHOICE game so our choices change the world. In yours he is a great god in mine is my enemy. That’s not reason to call anyone dumb.

Precisely, control us as a tool through the Aeson kill-switch, where he likely has his own agenda, very much separate from Zeus. The rest is simply bullshit.
Since he already made Aeson loyal to him and we’re irrevocably tied to Aeson, there was and is no need for him to really try with the mc, and everything he does now is just a belated act of bullshit.

In reality he harm us more than anything. I wkuld prefer being raised in the Olympus. You know learning how fight and my rivals. After all better be trained and qualified. I swear that no damn god wanted train us. All this fate …They must be scared of Grandpa.

If grandpa offers me clothing and a god home in a palace on the abysm I would accept. I mean just to see damn Olympic gods suffer.

Except we can’t because of the Aeson kill-switch and unlike us Aeson has been raised and indoctrinated to hate granddaddy Cronus as much as my mc loathes Hades, or even worse.
Otherwise, yes, my mc would be open to at least hearing Cronus out long enough to see if he would actually make us an acceptable offer.

True,I believe Zeus’ plan for the mc on Olympus would have been to rotate us between all the Gods, who would have taken turns “raising” us. So our existence on Olympus would never have been as nice as Aeson’s or any of the other Demigods, even Saint as I believe the rotation schedule was deliberately designed to prevent any of the Gods from possibly becoming attached or developing any sorts of feelings whatsoever towards the mc and likewise to prevent the mc from bonding with any of our “guardians”. We would have been raised as a dangerous tool, nothing more nothing less and, again unlike Aeson, they would probably have kept us the poorest Demigod on Olympus all the same.

So I don’t believe the mc being raised on Olympus would have resulted in better (material) circumstances. We’d have a bit more training, but that would have been the extent of it.
We’d also have been indoctrinated to hate and fear Cronus, worse than Aeson or any of the others have been thus indoctrinated.

I would seduce Killing switch and trap him in the Pandora box until Olympic is done. And then probably suicide because I don’t think we have a future with him being so much loyal to Hades. and with the indoctrination and killing switch.

Yeah, there’s little hope, unless Cronus has a secret trick to transfer the kill-switch part from Aeson to himself or something, as that would prevent either of us from killing the other.
Hmm…maybe that’s where Saint has a use as a killswitch loophole.

Maybe I would love romance Aeson for real but the kill switch is a big no to maintain a relationship

My Hades!Bearer doesn’t trust any of them. She resents them all, particularly Athena and Hades who’re on the recieving end of most of her ire. Her perception is one of her best qualities, though, so she recognizes that she needs them and isn’t getting anywhere without them (especially not right now, given how we’re being kept in the dark) and she intends to do everything in her power to ensure that they trust her. She’s very good @ playing the part, too LMFAO. She’s a planner, who tends to have her shit mapped out so she’s O.K (if not content) with biding her time until it’s time to make her choices. She’s pragmatic to the point of moral ambiguity, so her loyalty is undecided @ this point. Even if she ends up siding with Olympus, her end-game is going to involve making sure the gods never reproduce again @ the very least.

My Zeus!Bearer loves Athena and Hades with the intensity of a dwarf star. She trusts them, nearly completely and would do whatever they asked of her as long as it didn’t come into conflict with her strong core morality. She’s overwhelmed, and confused and bad @ managing her emotions which doesn’t bode well for any planning, however premature. Everything tht’s happened is too much for her to process, and the complete lack of information, coupled with the wild ass expectations being leveled make her furious and she has no outlet for tht. Whom should she blame? Who should bear the brunt of her fury? It’s often herself; she feels like she’s @ fault for being deviant, aberrant, even though she knows tht it doesn’t make ‘sense’. She looks towards Athena for guidance, and support. She disliked Zeus immediately upon meeting him, and distrusts him. He needs to get off her dick, TBH. She loathes Hera, and is probably going to hit her or call her a bitch @ least once within the course of the game. She projects charm, and easy confidence because she has no idea what else to do. It’s a reflex, because she’s panicking n she can’t begin to deal with the thought of being alone.

Yes, yes they are. And it’s great.

And about him not bringing us to Olympus that’s Athena’s fault, not Hades’, and we kind of did disappear to the point where the gods had troubles finding us. As in all of them. So you can’t really blame him for not being able to just grab us and bring us to Olympus when the other gods were too lazy to go themselves.

Hades is stronger than Athena. He only had to say She is there Zeus with the kid. HE DOESN’T WANT PICK US .

Strength is subjective to wit.

It is no problem he has ten years to say Zeus By the way Athena is in this place. You could go pick The choosen one when you want. I go with my favorite children now you could deal with the lame one. He gaves a shit about us when he had his own killer switch to control

If you look in the stats page with a high relationship with Hades, it says that you have always been his hero. I feel like that would imply that he wants you to be raised in by another who loves you as he does. Furthermore, With Athena gone, he may have been forced to be an impromptu Olympian, preventing him to visit you as the other Olympians merely sent their kids to get killed by an unknown source as opposed to going themselves.

Stats mean nothing because there is a totally different text for bad relationship. Maybe in your game he is super cool and great I am not saying that he is shit for everyone. It is shit for me and my game only. I don’t want him and I be totally hostile to him for my motives. You could believe him or not. I am like always Talking in character. NOT SAYING IS SAME FOR EVERYONE.

So, what we can take from this is that Hades is either great or the biggest douche on the planet, it depends on how our MC treats him.

Let’s just say None of the Gods are Dad of the year to the MC, because they fail us in some way or another.

Can we just become independent or emancipated? That might be best imo. ymmv.
