I’m torn at this decision, having your father be based on your stats could lead to a lot of different interesting scenarios with you interacting with your parent, but on the other hand having your father preset could be better for the story if it’s already all planned out.
In the end, I think I’ll have to vote for the parent to be based on stats simply because it may add more replayability.
I’m glad to see another COG based on Greek mythology! There are too few of them, IMO, and there’s literally a treasure trove of opportunities here. Are you considering putting any of the greek gods as RI’s? The younger ones, I would presume, i.e Hermes/Apollo/Dionysus etc etc. I recall in another COG, Cassandra of Troy, that was an option. I’m not saying you have to do this by any means, it’s just a consideration that I think would be really interesting to include. You’ve got a great premise so far! I look forward to reading more of the story
Please, let us choose. From a role-playing perspective is important. I have certain characters ideas and father nature is key for how each will act and rapport with Gods and with each daddy.
If my Erys fan girl (Also let me choose Erys is so cool) ended being Poseidon child she would be pissed as hell.
I love the story so far, really fascinating and interesting. But regarding what you said about having the father already preset, I think it would be great to have the father chosen based on your stats or choice because it’s good for replay-ability and a little more interesting. It’s your story of course so it’s your choice but it was just a thought that I really hope you consider.
I thought our parent got chosen when we chose our eye color, but if that isn’t the case then between the 2 options I would have to say that I prefer to chose my character’s parent via stats over a preset parent. It makes things more interesting.
I would also like to to ask why is hestia only mentioned lien once and then it’s like she up and died or something we just don’t talk about she anymore even though she’s awesome. UNLESS SHES YOUR AUNT GASP!!!
@Scorpio00 Your eye color does not determine your lineage, but I get why you’d think that. Your parent is now based on your stats, but will not be revealed until later on in the story; most likely Part 2.
@Rohie is it too much of a spoiler to ask for who are the tentative RO options (other than Saint)? Or has this been asked already – otherwise I’m so sorry about repeating the question.
I really like this wip so far. I like how you portrayed the gods so far and how you can tell they have their own reasons for things. What I’d like to see more, others have mentioned it, is being able to choose how I feel about things like all the touching Saint does. (hope this doesn’t count as a spoiler) also maybe give the option to for an opinion on important npcs when we meet them.
Really looking forward to this game. Keep up the good work!
This wip is freaking amazing. Like seriously, youve got me hooked in the story immediately, and I absolutely love how you thought this through really well, and it blows me away with how much effort you mustve put into this. I just absolutely love it, and ill be eagerly waiting for more.
The conversations flowed well and the personalities are quite developed, and im curious about everyone of your characters. Ive always been a huge sucker for mythologies, so this was a total sell out.
