I live for familial feelings you see and Poseidon hearing MC call him dad would be the best thing ever. As for Hades…well, I’d love for the convo to go into “so…do I call you uncle or ???”
Family bonding please. Even a throw away line or dialogue would be okay like: “so…I know this won’t make up for lost time, but, how would you feel if we went away for the weekend? Father and child sort of thing?”
(if there’s anything more than shipping I enjoy, it’s non-romantic – platonic, familial, storgean/storgic/whatever is the adjective form of storge/etc love because that’s so important too)
Anyway, on parental shizzles. I’m kind of curious to see what kind of support they’ll be lending the MC in the trial. It seems though that Poseidon only has his chariot – at least explicitly said that he owns the thing – to give? Hades seems to have a lot of items :)) so I wonder how this will affect game play
@Rohie I know all the rest of the players wants all to be family dream in wonderful pony land and yummy gummy bears of awesome. So I understand that, but it would possible for someone like me say whatever… I don’t buy that crap of family sit com and focus in the competition. Because even in the characters I made that are pro gods are mostly stoic and need time to bond… I am sorry guys each time I read all your sugary fan fictions I die inside Sorry, I am too much grumpy and grim to this… poor Poseidon papa trying to bond with my character Whatever… and rolling of eyes
I can imagine Poseidon and MC going fishing as a bonding session.
Poseidon will secretly command fishes to be caught by the MC so that he/she will not be depressed/bored
Poseidon expected MC to be all ‘Best Day Ever’, but instead MC will find it patronizing and be offended.
Conversely, Poseidon surprises MC by bringing them to something not water/fish related and he’s offended that MC thought they’d do something like that :))
I believe that all the gods have plans and expectations, despite whatever endearment they might feel for you.
And real affection is something that takes time to build up.
Also, considering the very nature of the beings we’re talking about, I have doubts we will ever get rainbows, unicorns and all that. Come on, those are the gods of the greek pantheon we’re dealing with! You don’t want to be their enemy but I am not sure you want to be their friend either!
Zeus obviously plans to use the MC and does not have a lot of respect for the demi-gods, I mean he is breeding them like war-dogs.
Poseidon is scared of the MC’s power and what they might choose to do with it (with good reason considering some MC on this forum - I am looking at you Mara! ), and even if you choose to give him a chance that fear doesn’t just go away immediately.
Hades has had the time to get to know you and feel affection for you, I’ll give him that.
Oh man, I don’t know how but I somehow got Poseidon as my father . I’ll still forever be disappointed that you can’t romance Saint or have Hades as your father, but other than that, the update was great! Do all other routes have a lot of (this part is being worked on) or is that only if you chose to go to the food table at the ceremony?

Oh lawd , Adonis seems like he would be that one kid who has really cold hands and feet, so if you ever sleep over with him he puts his cold feet on you. I can see why the bearer is wary of sharing the sheets
Well yeah, that and also rampant assholery. But it would be worth it to envision Blanket Burrito Bearer & Calypso in one room while Adonis snuggles up with the glorious sheets in his own room, sighing in contentment. This must be killing people who don’t ship Bearer/Calypso.
