Children of the Gods (Important poll #12306)

Nah, demigods can only be really blood related by having the same mortal parent.

That has to be the third time or so in one day this question was asked… (It’s also explained ingame when looking at history -I think- in the stat screen)

That doesn’t mean you can’t kill Saxon. It means that choice no longer affects the outcome.

Look at the code, the choice does affect the outcome.

Not when you look at the code. Otherwise getting Hades as father would be easier as getting Zeus. And Hades is supposed to be harder to get as father as the other two.

I was basing that solely off what Rohie said. By the way, how do you look at code for one of these? I remember doing it when Choice of the Vampire came out, but I haven’t bothered since then.

Yes! Now I get to be Hades’ son and still be good!

Oh Joyous Day!

I certainly can’t resist, haha. Its too good. Why, Aeson, why!!

Hades in this is just so cool and sweet. And even though Athena has a quality about her you can’t really trust, she seems fiercly protective over the mc, and not just because they’re the Essence. I like Saint a lot, definitely. Calypso is a great character, she’s written very well, but she’s someone my mc is sort of wary of (and it’s not because she might have a crush on Aeson… I’m not THAT bitter. I hope). Oh, Adonis. I still feel like I’m going to be a little torn, like I’ll be pursuing Aeson but the path to Adonis is still so tempting. I feel like he has to have an image of a womanizer because of momma Aphrodite. Like if he walks you to your room it seems as if he tries to use a line on the mc, but doesn’t follow through after looking at/considering her. I don’t doubt there’s more to him. So the crush on Adonis is still lingering… I took forging for him, after all! But the feels for Aeson are too strong.

There is q bug in the volean on the infamous daddy code problem with ) . @Rohie if you want suggestions for a new way of code that pm me

Is Poseidon the easiest father to obtain?

Theoretically, yes. Both Zeus and Hades have specific requirements to get them as father. Poseidon gets the rest.

Do you have to lean far into the dark for Hades and far into the light for Zeus?

No 85 immoral and Zeus

Nah it’s decided by killing the Seeker + allure the highest stat => Zeus / Not killing the Seeker + Wit as highest stat => Hades

Would someone be a Demeter and check the dad scene for me (it’s best to start from the beginning instead of loading a slot)? I made some corrections based on all your input. I can’t say that the stat page will work…but I did a random run through, and received no errors.

Does that mean, in order to get Poseidon, you have to have your highest trait as Strength and the seeker decision doesn’t matter?

Is this Rohie speech for “Would someone be a dear?”?

Just did a quick run with a high Strength MC and killing the Seeker, got Poseidon and no error that I could see

Just tied a random one and only Poseidon came up. Looks like it worked. I’m try to get a different dad just to be sure though. Could you tell me the requirements for the Zeus and Hades so I don’t miss?

Sure thing:
*if ((var2 = true) and (Wit > Strength)) and (Wit > Allure)
*set dad1 true
Hades stands before you, clad in a tailored black suit.
*set dad “child of Hades”
*goto heydad
*elseif ((var2 = true) and (Allure > Strength)) and (Allure > Wit)
*set dad3 true
Zeus stands before you, clad in a regal chiton.
*set dad “child of Zeus”
*goto heydad
*else
*set dad2 true
Poseidon stands before you, clad in a casual chiton.
*set dad “child of Poseidon”
*goto heydad

So just to clarify so I don’t get confused:
Zeus- allure is greatest
Hades- wit is greatest
Poseidon- strength is greatest

Am I correct or is it a title more detailed?
