Can I compile appearance traits in the stats page?

I have all the code set up in the startup, but I’m wondering if I can get my stats page to list the customizable name/appearance traits in a full sentence/sentences. For example, could I get it to display “Your name is ${full_name}. You are a ${gender} attracted to ${sexuality}. You have ${hair_length}, ${hair_texture}, ${hair_color} hair, ${eye_color} eyes, and ${skin_color} skin. You are ${height}.”

Example
*commend
    Indent

Yes! If the variables are created correctly in startup and are set in the game, the example you’ve suggested would work. I’d suggest also including an alternative paragraph that displays if the player hasn’t set those traits, otherwise it would look strange.

Oh good point, I didn’t think about what it would look like if someone looked at the stats page before completing character customization. Thank you!

So, how would you write this? I considered doing if strings but then I realized I don’t know how to do that lol. Basically when the character customization hasn’t been completed, I think it would be easiest to just have it say “You are a mystery.” or something similar, but I don’t know how to prompt that. Or could I make a separate variable like [*set appearance “yes”] and then, in the stats page, somehow do an if yes… thingy?

5 minutes after my last comment got approved, I figured it out XD

For anyone wondering what I did: in startup, added a [create customization “”], then (before any actual story text) [set customization “false”], then (after all customization options were completed) [set customization “true”].

On the stats page:

*if (customization)
You are ${name} ${surname}, a(n) ${height}, ${body_type} ${gender} attracted to ${sexuality}. You have ${hair_length}, ${hair_texture}, ${hair_color} hair, ${eye_color} eyes, and ${skin_color} skin.

*else
You are a mystery
