Can always do a mix of both, small updates whenever you feel like adding them, big updates whenever you feel like adding them lol
Well, I donāt know about everyone else but Iād prefer option 2. I can wait for a while to get an update. Besides, I donāt like being left in a cliffhanger.

Agreed. But I guess that, maybe, you should just do what the majority wants.
I think for this next part of the branches Iāll update each path and explain which paths are currently being worked on. That way people donāt have to travel their preferred path only to find there was no update on that branch. Then after Iāve done those updates Iāll got back to the larger updates. Maybe once or twice per month.

UPDATE 3 July 2015
I have added an update for the path of mentorship on task day. I have also edited the beastly tab in the task menu.
I have not yet added anything to the branches of
- those not participating in the mentorship task. Working for Zeredah or Anna.
- those who have chosen the family path.
Still working on task day really, I had originally a random variable which determines the task but the second one was taking so long to work out the code I decided to release task possibility 1. The other paths/branches will get worked on in time.
Holding out one hand you let your sparks fly towards Katima. The first one stuns her and the next few make her wriggle on the floor like a worm in water. You smirk at the sight of her. You hear a bunch of beeps and look around. Sakeri shakes his wrist violently, as if heās upset with his device. His body flickers then disappears. Avian looks at his hands as body flickers. Heās teleported out of the arena. Pinellas punches the air angrily as she is teleported away. Katima howls in fury, her voice cuts out as she disappears from sight. Kalon swears loudly as he too is teleported from the arena.
The part about sakeri repeats when I accidentally zap him.

Looking up, itās Bayani. Knowing next to nothing on nirs gift and assuming things has proved dangerous. Once again, the two of them have tricked you.
You groan as Oriel gives you a couple of kicks to the stomach. You hear the device beep for a third time.
"Keira youāre finished for today! " Zeredahās voice rings.
Seconds later youāre teleported out of the arena.
Letās say the MCās gift is electrokinesis, shouldnāt he be able to electrocute Bayani the moment nirs knee connect with the MCās stomach? I mean when under this 2-against-1 situation, the MC would intuitively release electrical charges upon coming into physical contact with his opponents. From there, the MC could probably turn the tide and emerged victorious.
Iām guessing Bayani put up a ESP shield like Sakeri during the fight that can happen if youāre Jag/Linnās apprenticeā¦ otherwise Bayani wouldāve been electrocuted when ne grabbed the MC to teleport him/her behind Katima. (unless thereās something special about Bayani we donāt know about)

That would probably be the case, letting the electricity fly wildly and zapping them both becoming victorious if that was someone who is untrained. Also, Bayani does know how to use an esp shield like Sakeriās one. Ne wouldnāt have been able to help you out with Katima otherwise.
If I did change that outcome for electro (where youāre against Oriel and Bayani) I feel like MC would win but be disqualified as the vast amounts of electricity would destroy your device attached to the wrist. Unless that outcome makes more sense? Also if MC successfully made a deal with Anna or Zeredah and the their mission is a success, no strings could get pulled to make you mentor (if that was the deal).
Bayani and Oriel were friends before Oriel was chosen to be trained by Ms Claude. Ne was taken down a different path for the black coats.

Path 2 for the mentor task is taking a little while to write. Hopefully itāll be done by this weekend though.

great start and itās always good when you have different starting points.Iām liking the electro backround the most especially with the pool interaction and afterwards too.on that last post I think that makes more sense with you frying it and get disqualified but maybe if your ability stats are high enough you could electrocute them through the ground?will there be more possible psychic starts?a liquid manipulator would be fun but I am enjoying the gift uprising as it is

@Alwayswandering I think Iāll change that part for electro then. I may add some others later on (with a password perhaps) but Iāve only written about 5% of the story so far. So that wont be for a while. Sakeri also uses water manipulation

@shoelip nerf also makes waterguns I use one to keep my cats off the counters

So I was sure that there were some kind of nerf super soakers I passed at the toy store a while backā¦ had a look online and there was some on the hasbro siteā¦
Iām thinking the ones that look non threatening would be fun. I like what @alwayswandering said.
I donāt know if this has been addressed or not, but why is telekinesis not an option? Is it too common or is it that other characters in the story already use that ability?
