I feel like a god
I will be given opportunitys and options to remain Anonymous and work/stay in the shadows? Fame, notoriety or just public knowledge of me is not what I’m after

The demo looks really promising! Can’t wait to see more and progress as the Ji the vigilante!

#23

I won’t say that that will be completely possible, but I am trying to keep methods vague enough that it can fit what you are imagining your hero is doing. There is a line I have to draw somewhere. There will absolutely be choices where you can go and disappear into a crowd and blend in, but because each outfit is different and each method of movement is so different, I need to cull that down into one more generic method of going about so I don’t have to write fifteen variations for every time the hero moves around the city.

Fear not though, if you want to crawl in the rafters and be the stealthy hero, then that is what you will be able to do when it truly matters.

#24

I liked the variety you have in character creation so far, but is the method of choosing our powers a WIP for now?

#25

Yes, it may change drastically depending on the feedback I receive about it or if I manage to think up a better way to do it. I think I won’t be adding new powers to the list unless there’s something super obvious that I have forgotten.

#26

Well, I think that having to switch back and forth between power selection and their reference information is a bit annoying (especially on a phone), so maybe you could include a “preview” description of the power before we make our decision?

#27

Absolutely. I can have a confirmation selection with the details for each power. That is absolutely doable. In fact, I already did it and it should be updating now.

#28

I absolutely love superhero games! Love seeing them popping up lately!

As for your WiP, I adore how it’s written. It’s very well done and I’m fond of the fact you can have such a wide range of powers. It adds a lot of replayablity and originality to the character.

A thumbs-up of luck to you and this project (I’m still bad at ending posts) :+1:

Will yhere be an option to play as a villian?

@Dylan_Gauthier Yes, you may end up as a villainous character. Not a “bad for the sake of being bad” kind of villain - like the Joker - but a villain nonetheless.

@CaballeroDeAndromeda Oh buddy, I missed seeing your name pop up in my feed. I’ll be fixing those tomorrow morning.

#32

Well, someone has to take the heat for pointing out spelling errors.

#33

I’d like to also build up my secret identity also. All we really have is are name and pur back story. It would be cool tohave our hero balance his and or her regular life with being a hero. For example going to school and work and dealing with relationships.

#35

Quick note:
This error pops up when you try to be a male who identifies as female.

#36

I clarified the code in that section and it should’ve fixed the issue.

#37

I second this. Although in real life, I’ve been scolded by my teacher many times for not knowing how to speak my native language (don’t hurt me, at least my English skill got a +100), I still would like to see it here.

#40

@Goshman I love this game already. Two genres that I can never get bored of are zombie and superhero games!

#41

This is awesome! So far I’m a teleporting hero with durability and healing factor. :3

#42

To be honest, I was kind of like, “Ugh, more superhero stuff?” Until I saw that it was you who was making it. Immediately, I tried it out and, I have to say, it’s amazing! The combinations of powers that complement each other is truly astounding! As is the ability to practically make your favorite superhero (I’ve made a Daredevil who isn’t blind…so…essentially Nightwing). So far, you’re doing an amazing job with this!

P.S. Maybe it would be beneficial to add some sort of weapon choosing to this, as not all superheroes (or villains) use their fists? Daredevil & Nightwing both use batons of some sort, Arkham City’s Robin uses a staff, and Deadpool uses a ton of weapons from what I understand.

#43

Wait
Maybe this game should have optional weaknesses. That would ve fun to make my hero sorta insane.
