When you see lightning the clouds literally block the sun covering the Earth in darkness. Then literally death will strike you from above.
When I saw Infinity War and Thor arrived on Wakanda looking like an undead god clad in darkness and covered in lightning seeking vengeance.
We’re able to rain meteors from the sky so lightning shouldn’t be implausible.
honestly probably all the gods can use lightning, their power set seems extensive if the different way to destroy the immortal humans is anything to go by
Hopefully this is only unique to us since death and destruction is our specialty. But i remember Darkner saying we are the only ones who can kill immortals like the immortal humans and including the gods.
I…skimmed and scrolled down. I’m pretty sure I missed a lot. But while skimming, our god is depicted as a death god. Although I am thinking that our mc god is someone ‘more than meets the eye’. We have goblins as our god race, they are also something more I think. Just saying hehe
In my head, my god is someone in-between. Light nor dark kinda thing. Still looking for a pic huhu
@No_This_Is_Patrick I’m very reluctant to make an elemental magic that is associated with one god. If the MC chooses the trident as a weapon, having them wield lightning in such a way the other gods can’t isn’t an issue.
It’s not that the other gods can’t create destructive forces, they can, it’s just that their power does not extend to annihilated an immortal being out of existence.
@Logan3000x I don’t want to give too much away here. But I can tell you now you will not have the power to veto laws or actions. Only one person has the power to veto some actions because they have ‘Imperium Mauis’ (it’s a secret who that is ).
To give a better image of the position of Chairperson, think of the position of Speaker of Parliament. I can’t say more than that though.
@Balrog_Demorgothe In the prologue, they just went on with your suggestions. Not so afterwards. You will stay have influence to nudge things along your plans.
There’s so many political and religious aspects of this setting that I want to see explored I don’t think I can even list them all, pretty sure I’d be forgetting something.
The prologue makes a mention of a Dark Lord (which was something decided by the group before the MC’s introduction) so that’s the actual villain instead of the MC.
That somehow went completely unnoticed by most of us during our wild speculations.
The possibilities of ingenious plotting intensifies. Deliciously malicious plotting.
to be fair i had noticed it, i just though that since the dark lord is the Hero’s bad guy and not the Gods’s, it’s more like he will be the guy you are competing to have your champion beat
or the guy that stop the game if killed, sending everyone back to the real world, Jumanji style (it would probably be the option i absolutly never take)
This is totally awesome! Some grammar mistakes but they’re small enough that the reader isn’t really looking at them. I’m curious to see if your friends were taken into this world before you and what they have been doing these past 10 years in a world they created with no hope of going back to the place they belong
I’m also intrigued by the maids, who hired them to clean my place and why are they talking about the elves? What did they do? Thanks for sharing this with us and I’m looking forward to the growth of this work!
