Finally had to chance to go through this again (kids are fun but man they are time consuming). Regardless Accolon was handled interestingly, as well as Arthur/Elaine’s thoughts on his banishment. A king showing indecision would causes distress and needless worry on Camelot, it works even if the king themselves may or might even regret it. It also sets things up for Accolon showing up again perhaps as a vengeful knight or perhaps something more nice depending how things are handled with Morgan.
While I have yet to see the other changes to your story as I went the Elaine route and didn’t refuse the wedding in the first place, or even try the so called God Mode, I merely wanted to pat you on the back for your changes.
Why does everyone hate Elaine? I am pretty sure I wouldn’t romance anyone else if she wasn’t an option. The only major thing I dislike about her is the fact that she refuses to have children.
Sorry for the slow reply, fighting off a bad cold at the moment.
@Hector_Lopez
I honestly can’t replicate this, so unless it’s simply an issue of playing on a new save after the recent update, I’m not sure what else it could be. So if anyone has this error with a new save let me know.
@Zarkrai Not between those two. There is a poly romance with Kay and Lunete though. They never romance each other, but are willing to both stay in a relationship with you. So, two separate romances, that both consent to the other being with you as well.
@Krieg_Enthusiast Some people disliked how hard they are in their no children choice and others think that their actions in chapter three were harsh. I recently allowed the player to mitigate that choice via banishment though. There are also some players concerned with their views on religion.
Love it, only thing i’d suggest is adding more action in the story, giving the MC more militaristic background choices, opportunities to fight and lead, to be seen as a Great leader and knight.
You could also add the armour and swords in the story which can be equipped in the stats menu, making it bit more rogue-like, Perfect example is the Great tournament
I love this story sooo much it’s sooo good. I love replaying it nonstop. I did have one bug? I think happen, I’m not sure if it was supposed to go like this but when I chose the attend church with Elaine and when I select the option to ask the bishop if he talked with her about abstinence or whatever, he said 1 or 2 sentences and then it goes into Lancelot and the jester talking about stories like when you go to the story telling choice with Lancelot and you go through those choices again.
What kind of love triangles do you intend to be possible? I was thinking that a triangle between Arthur and Lunete with MC would be interesting, being in a romantic relationship with your husband and king, yet slowly falling in love with your bodyguard
I’ve planned out the paths in Chapter 4 and know where I want them to go. As the new year has arrived, I can’t help but feel proud with how far this game has come. I’m going to keep on writing now my Christmas break is over and hopefully start to finish up the chapter.
Enjoying it so far. All the characters are enjoyable to engage with. My main critique is Arthurs anti kid stance. The seem pretty pious and devout. Part of Christianity is to be fruitful and multiply, and most Christian sects view children as a literal gift from God. Doesn’t make sense to me at least that Arthur would be set against having kids but that’s just me.
Best of luck in your writing endeavors. Looking forward to playing more as time goes on.
I wasn’t sure about reading this because i’m not a fan of Arthurian’s legend, but i like this so much. Arthur is so lovable and sweet! And MC’s dad was funny and i miss him a little.
But question: Does not being a christian change how Arthur feels toward MC? When i played as a christian, Arthur was in love with my MC in the end, but when i played as not christian he was just “warm” toward MC. (Also i’m not sure if druid is used right here. Even if some characters are Celtic or believe in multiple gods, that doesn’t make the druids. If it’s just part of the worldbuilding, ignore this. )
Good luck with writing!
