Genocide doesn’t exactly fit my image of “grace and humility”.
The Meek’s words here are very different from their actions. IIRC this is one of the debate scenes and do remember during that time The Meek would want to come off as the sympathetic underdog that’s fighting for equality. Ofc they’re gonna present themselves in a manner that is “pleasing” to the public eye to gain sympathy and support. Who in their right mind would go to a debate and say "We believe in killing off (whatever group of people) in order to bring about our ideals

Everything quoted here are the opinions of the characters that stated them. Not any kind of hard factual evidence. Just because a character said something doesn’t make it an actual fact. Each character there had their own opinions of the situation of their world and many of them had very narrow views as well making them incredibly biased.
