While Prodigal is certainly an interesting character, she’s way lower than everyone else on the moral scale. BM’s selfishness and moments of being a jerk and Lucky’s boringness are dwarfed by Prodigal being a psychopathic killer. I’ve never understood why some people try to whitewash her.

I love Prodigal because she’s a psychopath. Yes, she has other attractive qualities (a sense of humor, a good head for tactical planning) but that’s the first one that caught my eye. If she were moral, she wouldn’t be Prodigal.
Other people have their own versions of fun, I date fictional mass murderers. It’s a hobby I enjoy.

you and i we have the same hobby=)))
Just try not to do that physically. Somehow I don’t think that would end well.

I have no problem with it. At all. My first thought after she appeared was if there was a way to stop being a hero and become a mass murderer together with her… My dreams came true in HeroFall. I killed pretty much everyone I could, romanced prodigal, and was very sad to see her die at the end.

We love Prodigal because of the same reason we love Harley Quinn… She’s fuckin’ nut and somehow still manages to be awesome

I don’t why but I’ve always loved the idea of enemies become lovers and the third installment of Heroes Rise gives me exactly that. I honest couldn’t bring myself to love either Black Magic or Lucky in HeroFall because of Prodigal, she has grown so much more than the insane sociopath in the first game and I think she’s one of the romance option with the most character development and background. Basically what I’m trying to say is that Prodigal’s fucking awesome with her Harley Quinn-ish personality !

To be honest, I felt sorry for Prodigal more than I found her awesome. Before I played HeroFall I thought that she was a pain in the ass crazy stalker bitch who has it out for me, for some reason. She was like the Joker to my Bat(wo)man, but I understood her less than the Joker.
And then I played HeroFall and saw her backstory, and then I thought she was a sad, crazy-ass girl. I didn’t like rereading the other two books because now I understood the meaning behind her actions. Like, I just wanted to give her a hug and a basket of cookies and all that. I can forgive her for being such a nutcase, and had she lived I would have continued to be super best friends with her and help her heal from her trauma, but I can’t love-love her. Not really.

Did we ever get a “happier” Prodigal ending? Coming into all this quite late – still scouring the interwebz at the moment :(.
Her life was 99% devoid of happiness and it really bothers me it just ended like that.
Yes, but the 1% was stalking/dating MC, so I guess we may did something good to her?
Posted on the Heroes Rise FB page like “please Prodigal blah blah some kinda better ending blah blah” and Zachary replied with:
“Ask and ye shall receive. Much coming up in the next Hero Project installment :-)”.
I’d be happy with even just a mention of how the original Heroes Rise MC ended up living in an Island alone with someone who may be Prodigal (if they romanced her) in the next installmen. Le sigh.
