@Scribblesome might correct me on this, but I think she said it’s meant to be a slowburn, so any possible romantic inklings would take place in an hypothetical book 2.
hmm, from the old dev post, it’s not say that 100 and 313 is the ro. So i guess they’re not?
And here I am, clowning myself tries to find the ‘flirt’ option with 100
Thanks!
Review on my playthrough:
I failed miserably in my first playthrough because I tried to be balance in everything (and end up failing). I didn’t think the stat would be highly impacting the story and I was playing as how I would respond normally. Second playthrough I played a bit smarter and managed to be promoted. Now onto third playthrough to play as rebel.
is there a way to discover Angel’s true mission or are we always failing in doing so?
Also, is there a way to romance Garret? Like I try to pick every flirt option but somehow it end up I cannot spend time with him and get the “I may not seeing him again” ending… :")
They’re ROs
Does anyone remember our fake last name?
Congratulations on the release. This was a fantastic read from start to finish!
Thank you, everyone!
@Lala_Zarus, about romancing Angel: flirt a bit, but you don’t need to pick all the flirt options. Choose to go with them in chapter 7. If you want to impress them, do well at the ch 7 stat checks, pick generally pragmatic/mean options, and be wary about their motives. Being kind of rude to them can also help! Then you have to let them get away with the suitcase to get a romance scene
@Artemis1 : There’s one female option (Vicki), one male (Gareth), one NB (Hex), and Angel is variable
@lynossa : You can sort of flirt with 100, but he’s conscious of it looking like you’re just trying to affect his assessment.
Re: Angel’s plan… SourPeaches is right, you either have to impress them or get them to underestimate you (fail at stuff, lecture them about doing bad things, etc)
Don’t really know how I feel about my self-insert that I always start with just being absolutely terrible at the whole ‘Spy Thing’.
Considering what kind of person it takes to be good at the spy thing, that’s not necessarily bad!
Do you remember the last name we used for cover?
Daniels, I think
Yeah, didn’t mean it in any real negative way. Loved the game, and felt like it was one of the most easily understandable choice systems I’ve been exposed to that didn’t just actually say numbers and stats. Just coming to grips with “failing” my first run.
@The_Phantom, re: the ending yes, it should be possible to kill him and still do well if you’ve succeeded at other parts of the game. Befriending 313 also helps as they will tell the IIA a version of what happened that makes you sound good
@The_Phantom I didn’t see anyone answer your question about Faust. So, yes it is possible. If I just missed someone else answering… opps
Wow 900 edits to figure out spoiler tags. Go me!
I stopped the chemical attack in the building then Chased Faust. Brought the chopper down and shot him. I had to lie about it, but I’m a spy! We lie! Did not get fired. Did get offered 100s job.
@Vyndral, broken spoiler tag!
I’m trying!
You just need to get rid of the \ in the first tag
I managed to get 70% with Angel (that should be considered high, right?) but couldn’t discover his plan and he called my mc idiot hurt that my pride more than it should. Is that always happened? What do I need to do for the spy to think of my MC as worthy contender?
Unrelated note: when I tried rebel route, my MC ended up getting promotion.
@lynossa Agree with their skewed morals and methods, don’t be moralising, do well in the casino and pass the stat checks if you’re partnered with them. Also, respect is a hidden stat and is unrelated to the relationship bar.
