"180 Files: The Aegis Project" -- Uncover a web of evil as an elite superspy!

Ah, so Agent 100 and 313 are not actually romance options? There go my dreams for chasing that silver fox… :-’) I saved myself and resisted Angel for no reason LKEJGELGJ time to replay!

Fantastic job on this @Scribblesome, this was one of the best CSGs I’ve read in recent memory, and the branching is so ambitious and mind-blowing! Congratulations on your successful release!

Oh, if that’s true… Worth the wait for sure!

It will be interesting to see how sequels (1? or a series? :eyes:) play out from here on out, there were so many totally different endings!

Congratulations @Scribblesome so far I only finished the first chapter but this story reminds me of a good spy movie yes I see some James bond in it but it’s a Promising start so far

Wonderful, @Scribblesome I’ve loved it from the beginning to the end. If there were a a sequel, I would buy immediately. I’ve rated it 10/10.

On other nother, however, I’m not sure if it’s a bug or if I’m misunderstanding the choices but if (sorry I have no image) you choose to have your arm amputated as background, you have a nightamre the first night that you sleep in the complex. Then you are given four options to decide what do you feel about it: two are clearly vengance/justice oriented, but the other two are either “wishing to go out drivind, to a party or doing at least something” or “whishing to go back to your brilliant old self”. I have the feeling that the first one is thrill and the second is ambition, but if I choose that last one, I’ve always end up gaining thrill. I really don’t understand the logic behind it. Is it meant to be this way?

OH MY GOD…
I have finished the game and I am speechless. It is such a piece of art. Like LITERALLY

Firstly gameplay and plot - it’s quite easy to get which choice raise or demand specific stat so player won’t find it annoying nor hard. I myself found it quite enjoyable because of because of the mentioned clarity. Story was truly interesting and I really liked that you have variety of options and motives. For example you can be honest and loyal to your agency or cunning and priorities your benefits or be loyal but follow your guts, not always what your bosses want.

Then romance - Angel is my love  I personally really enjoyed this bitter-sweet route with a pinch of dark and enigmatic ending. I’ve tried to go for different ROs but in the end I’ve always ended up falling for Angel or once I’ve gotten myself into friends with benefits with Hex :joy: it’s actually kind of sad that you can’t have a real relationship with them :c or maybe it’s just me who can’t get it
¯_(ツ)_/¯
either way I am whipped for our enemy :))))

About DIABLO: I think that it’s really interesting concept about using devil’s names as pseudonyms and other stuff in their agency and the theme of the agency as one and I really liked they wasn’t only presented as “rivals” but you could have take a part in their operation and see more of it

Lastly final words about Angel :smirk: I felt in love with that you can flirt with them and slowly both characters start to catch feelings for one another and it actually influence both them and their action (e.g. you can let them go with this date or how they think about you in epilogue) and create this strange relationship in which they end up in the epilogue

Is there going to be a sequel? Because you cannot leave me like that with my heart broken for Angel :joy: And I want to see how things are gonna go in future… Author, you know what i mean ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

What determines if you figure out what Angel is up to or not? Sometimes I get it and other times I don’t.

Can I just say that this is absolutely amazing? :two_hearts::two_hearts: All the characters really stick to me, and I’m so satisfied with how different things can go because my choices matter so much!

Is it possible to keep the briefcase (but let Angel get away) and still initiate a romance with them? If not in this book then in the hypothetical second book?

@augustus27 I don’t think that it’s possible. I’ve tried to trigger that on several playthrough , but never managed to get the romance ending scene if i don’t let Angel get away with the case. Best that i could get is the “gaining enemy respect” achievement. The author have also drop the hint about letting Angel get away with the case to trigger the romance ending.

Finally, an excellent read since wayhaven. Congratulations on a good game with great writing. I really enjoyed playing this. Solid writing and the different skills have just enough content to make you replay the game with different stats.

Is there going to be a part 2? Or this was a standalone game?

Allright, I have finally replay the game with my third protagonist (actually, is like my 10th playthrough because I’ve replayed the game until I’ve get the more fitting ending for each one of them), and wanted to say that I just love how each of the backgrounds manage to give the story a different feeling. It really help connecting with the story.

On other note, I really need help with the Sudden, but Inevitable achievment. I’ve traid everything I can think of. I have enter with and without Angel’s help. I have succed in three stat check options when talking with Petrovich. I have confronted the policeman and fight, threat and talk to him. I have solve the hostage crisis both talking and shooting. Really, what do I have to do to get more answers out of this man??? I like this game a lot and wanted to get all the achievments as a guide to read all the branching but I’m complitely lost with this one. Please, can someone write me a tip?

And, kind of and ending thought, but: I love Hex. I love Angel. Hex and Angel are flirting in the party… Wait, three are company, right? XD

Hi all,

Wondering if anyone can help. Trying to work out the best combination in regards to character. Obviously I am assuming it’s best to have either Cunning, tech or charm as highest as there the three main job choices you get. Is it best to rase both stats together so for example if you want to go charm and cunning you pick a charm choice then a cunning or is it best to get yore main stat to over 80 which is what I have been doing and then back up with the other when needed. Also what stats suit what style in regards to character combination such as charm and cunning etc or does that not matter?
