BTW, ended the Beta test, and just saying it looks good… It’s pretty good too that we can choose not only our sex but who are we attracted to… Wondered… If in the future we have to met other people, will or possible attraction to them help? Or have some influence in the end? Like, for example, I went as a Scientist… If you fall in love with someone and you loose that person to the virus, will it make you work more in the development of the cure?
Also, could you consider letting the character choose to keep reading the USB’s data?

Tried the Combat Medic route on the Soldier background, really well done as ever. Have noticed a error with the Nephew though as my character called the Cancer ward, I learnt my sister was dead and I chose to tell Billy the truth and he reacted, but later when he’s having Pizza he mentions that we have to find his mom.
@JimD Are there really any perks to choosing a teenager as profession/background or is it there just for the sake of it being there?
Also I know it’s against the rules to ask but I just wanted to know if you had a release date in mind for the game and when.
I like the extended sequence for the Police Officer, getting to see the station go to hell is pretty nice. Also good to see none of them went all Brian Irons. I think a Klepto should pocket something from the duffel bags at least, but otherwise it was good.
The Soldier background is them actually going to the base, correct? I thought it was also quite well done and I’m eager to see what the Satellite Phone will be used for in the future, though I wish there were more ways to get it than just rushing off to base.
I think the Soldier background changes depending on what section you’re in? Because I was a combat medic I had a situation where I hit a person on the road and had two soldiers help me out when it turned out to be a zombie.
If you choose to execute both you have the option to visit the base after the phone call telling you it is lost. I am 90% sure that you were limited to just going home before. It opens up a sequence I hadn’t seen before.
Not sure if there are other ways to get into it, but there is no option to go to base still if you stop to help and then notify her the leg is twitching.

I highly doubt that it’s dead, it’s only been ten days. With the scope that JimD is making this game, it’s going to take a while to write and code everything (especially if you have another job and a family and all that stuff). We just need to be patient.
There’s many different professions and intros, meaning many coding. Jim probably can’t code that fast (unless hes a coding guru) and also his last post was 1 day ago.
Definitely not dead. I am writing my first official game for CoG (A Wise Use of Time) and am almost finished development. Then I will move full time to Safe Haven.
I also post a lot about the game on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/ZombieExodus) and typically hold back posting here until I upload new game content.

found a typo in the teen epilogue. “They drag her along the path to the pool house, and he disappears inside the small shack.” It’s talking about Madison but says “he disappears” instead of “she disappears”
