Yes, there is more in the released version. You can (and should) buy the released version to access all the new content.
I did a playthrough as a scientist, and despite building the research lab in the junkyard, I was never able to do any research in Part 3 at all. I could collect specimens, but no research.
i feel like research is gonna come in the later parts, like in the original ZE. Like u can get breakthrough in the research in chapter 4(?) and then defend the awesome gothic cathedral in chapter 5 to get vaccine ending
So guys is it a good idea telling Laurel about the junkyard or not?Any other missable tips?
Laurel has yet to reappear after she leaves the laboratory. She might show up in Part 4, or in Part 3-2 (if part 3 is like part 2).
And what about Jude?
Does bringing him to the junkyard cause bad stuff or he isn’t as bad as he seems?
If you met and spared him (spared = both of you survived the encounter) in Part 2, he is polite to MC, starts no trouble with the other group members, is willing to do his bit, and has very few creature-comfort needs. Of course, he is a stellar combatant and likely has some periphery skills on top of that. He even gets on with Fred and Woody, and MC can encourage him to reach out to others and connect more with the group. I am not sure what he’s like if you don’t meet him in Part 2. Do note that the MC in my case was a military commander with high Leadership and Empathy–your results may vary.
Speaking of Jude: Is there anyway to leave him alive after meeting him on the roof and still be able to loot stuff from the store without trading anything?
Because I chose the option of deciding after I left the roof about taking stuff and my group just left the store empty handed .
I don’t really think there is a way to loot the store, escape the town with the lives of your party (and Kent, Ed, Harriet, Aris, and Kate), and keep Jude alive without trading with him.
Don’t be ridiculous. You will ABSOLUTELY come back for your nephew.
When can you meet Jude in Part 2?
Near the end of Part 2, you will see a choice to do tasks/train/raise skills. One of the choices in this menu is “go on a trip with Jaime to a gas station”. Choose it, and you will encounter a sniper (that’s Jude). After you get to cover, you can possibly communicate with the sniper and get [him] to meet you on the grocery store roof for peace talks/trade. This is your chance to actually meet Jude.
You can leave him alive if you use the choices that ask him to surrender or intimidate him into leaving (Only available if you can hack intercom or use morse code). If you pass the stat checks for those choices he will leave the store alive and you will be able to loot the store without trading.
You can also leave him alive and loot the store if you bring the bandit jeep and still have the ammo. If you use the bandit jeep choice he will leave the store instead of dying or getting wounded if you completely suck at using ranged weapons.
There isn’t an actual way to leave him alive and loot the store without trading if you want to also be able to meet him on the roof though.
I can’t make the improved workshop even though I already added the prerequisite of a simple, normal workshop. I’ve also got plenty of space.
Now all I can think about is my nephew using all the training I gave him to kill his fave uncle

What I want to know is we actually meet the mcs parents later in the game. I found they are looking for me at the house in part 3. But will they will find me later if they are still alive after searching the burned house. And what are they like?
And how they will react when they hear what we done. Mine might get a surprise since I have my girlfriend Maddison
Could some perhaps detail how to recruit Jude from the musuem?
When you find out that the museum group has been taking prisoners, you will get a chance to meet them. One of the prisoners is Jude. Give the prisoners some water, free them, and side against the museum crew. Don’t warn the museum crew of the prisoners’ ambush. I actively support Thelma and the RMBC here, but I don’t think you have to. After the fight concludes (the RMBC won, the museum crew is either defeated or dead), you will get to talk to Jude. Invite him to join the Junkyard Group (third and last option for me).
