Can we have the options to give Cliff and Dee bandit group only the drug and nothing else? Originally they came for the drug, so I want that to be the only thing they get to take. Nothing more, nothing less

Pulling the machine guns off of the bandit or military jeeps to provide the watchtowers or other buildings with machine guns is a valid idea. Another option that could be used to allow those vehicle-mounted guns to help defend the junkyard in an emergency would be to set up hull-down positions for the vehicles themselves. Hull-down positions could either be dug or built with sandbags to conceal and protect the vehicle’s hull/crew while giving the turret clear firing lines on likely enemy avenues of approach. Hull-down positions are most commonly used by tanks, but can be used by lighter vehicles as well, as seen below.

I saw someone make mention of Sharif and Ayanna joining the River Dogs which was surprising. I ran pt. 3 lots of times but never saw that. What choices do I need to make for them to join the RD? Would love to read that content!

In chapter 8, when you go to the gas station where Sharif works, his boss will come and suggest that they had to the Silverthorne camp. If you don’t persuade them to avoid the Silverthornes, they go.

I completely agree. I put it in the next patch.

I thought this was the preferred method but I will switch to just plain *image.

I should’ve been more specific.

I always warn Sharif about them, but even with 90 Persuasion skill (wearing the tailored suit) I’ve never been able to convince Shirley. I usually leave the old lady alone, but willing to reconsider. Will they join RD if I kill her?

Can I start the romance with Anders in part 4? The only flirting i have seen is asking him to a dinner and I haven’t been able trigger that scene, if it even is in part 4. Or will I have to wait for part 5. Anders romance was the thing I was looking forward to the most in part 4.:smiling_face_with_tear:

A few junkyard labor additions I’ve found in my play-throughs to add to fairlyfairfighter’s excellent list:

Gina appears to count for two people if assigned to the Water Pump build. Woody likely does as well.

Woody appears to count double on the Smokehouse build. Gina likely does too.

Jaime and Tommy appear to count double on the Workout Area.

Jude and Lopez seem to count double on building the firing range.

Mounting 2 machine guns on watchtowers doesn’t add to defence. There is a bug with security cameras system. Added 3 for a job and it says that I have only 2 cameras and need 5. Option should be grey. There is a bug with advanced workshop. Already did that and Rachel suggestions put 2 people on the job. Paul contacted with me 2 times and we went through same dialogues.

They add to offense only.

This was fixed in an earlier patch, and I just confirmed that it is working in the current version of the game.

Yes, they will join the River Dogs, but I haven’t written that part yet. It is coming in the free update.

Thank you for your answer. It seems that I had update during my playthrough. It backtracked my to a previous checkpoint and those errors appeared. Thank you for fixing them.

I have another one:

Jillian suddenly appeared. I did not took her for university trip. I took Bailey, Woody and Tommy.

What are you doing? I want to search with you.

This happened in Steven hawking campus. Other university locations have correct characters.

Sorry to ask this but when is the new free update coming out? I have not played part 4 yet because im waiting for the major bugs to be ironed out.

The patch note said that you can now perform 5 Junkyard tasks. However in part 3 you can only perform 4 tasks?

Small bugs to report: the hygiene center isn’t adding liquid cleaners like it says it does when you build it in Part 4. I’m also not sure Jude’s ranged weapons training is adding to group offense like it should, but the increase to the MC’s ranged weapons skill is working.

I also just wanted to say I really appreciate the sheer number of improvements that can be made to the Junkyard in Part 4. The MC’s group can really show their resourcefulness and grit by turning a worn-down junkyard into a true defensible, sustainable, post apocalyptic safe haven.

I like to imagine how Drake and some of the Red Mambas (post-alliance) would react to visiting an extensively upgraded junkyard in late Part Four after seeing how the junkyard was when the MC’s group first occupied it in Part Three.

The free update is coming at about six months. I have made lots of changes to the game and fixed dozens of bugs, so you could play now or you could continue to wait.

The free update is going to add a lot of new content.

Part 3 has a lot fewer tasks, so I didn’t think you needed as many opportunities. I’m assuming that you want me to rethink that?

Nah, 4 tasks is perfectly fine for part 3, I was just curious since the patch note said that “Improved the Task System to allow up to 5 tasks per turn at the junkyard, up from 4.” So I assumed it was uniform for both part 3 and 4

Hi there! I just wanted to let you know about a bug when MC goes to the Stephen Hawking Science Lab in the Biology Wing. One of the items you can scavenge is a DNA sequencer (vital for continuing the research route!) and there have been no other places to obtain one. However after clicking to add it and receiving the page saying “You add the DNA sequencer to your inventory. You can take 11 more items.” when I look at my inventory DNA sequencer doesn’t show up anywhere. I tested taking other items from that area such as incubator and it showed up fine on the gear page. Later, back at camp, when I select the research the Zeta virus option, it shows the options requiring a DNA sequencer greyed out, indicating that the game doesn’t register me as having one. It’s a bit frustrating and a little confusing. Why isn’t it going into the inventory?

I’ve also gone into the code and changed it to read “dna_sequencer”:1 and that didn’t change anything.
