Maybe for some. For me, like I said earlier, little bummed but still will look after it as my own, and won’t stop trying for another after. Though it’s probable that Lyle, and others we’ve met might make a return/show up… intrigued there.
Or daughter. Earliest you can detect gender I believe is 14 weeks.

In chapter 14 I went on the trip with twins I looted one shop and got send back to junkyard for no reason. I wanted to search for stuff in all locations or at least a few more before returning

sean is such a moron. him and reily talk a big game with their “survival of the fittest” raiding bullshit when we can get everything we need and more by scavenging old buildings and food and water arent even a big concern (you dont understand bros we cant just use the lush and thriving forest with its abundance of foliage and animals and the massive fuckoff river with fish and water for our needs we NEED to steal from the group of people that have guns trust me on this). Im not even against stealing or raiding for stuff, just keep that shit to the last resort when there is no other option.

I feel like I’m missing something, is this from the patreon demo or did I skip a scene by accident or something? The only scene I got in the public demo was Billie telling Jillian that she either wasn’t pregnant or was having someone else’s kid but after that Jillian mentioned that Lyle was infertile so I thought that she wasn’t pregnant? I definitely could be very very wrong but it seems to me like this was just a set up for her wanting to have a kid, especially since it’s still only available to a male MC who’s romancing her, it would be weird if she only had Lyles kid because we had sex with her

I had to go code diving to hear the full story. Ultrasound confirms her pregnancy. She’s estimated to be four weeks pregnant. We’ve known her for three. Either the estimation is wrong or we’re not the father. Little bummed for my MC, but it doesn’t change anything for me otherwise.
My guess as to why she only notices for male MCs atm is mostly due to her being more vigilant for signs. If the last guy you were with was (falsely apparently) sterile, you probably won’t pay too much attention for pregnancy signs in a lesbian relationship.

No, although, I question if it’s because she’s not pregnant or just has a false sense of security, since, again, 4 weeks pregnant apparently.
Ok ya, with that for context, it definitely does seem like Lyle is the dad lol It’s still weird that it requires dating her and then explicitly not grabbing birth control for her since they wouldn’t do anything at that point but it could be another reason on why Jim has stated she would be the only ro to get pregnant, so who knows
I do hope it’s just a mistake tho, originally Jillian was my second least favourite ro but this made her route a lot more interesting, her having Lyles kid instead seems like unnecessary drama lol

I mean, given that it is the beta, and not set in stone, it could possibly change or be editted to possibly incline us being the possible actual father. Still, for me, will romance her regardless, mostly because she is a sharer.
That said, if Jim does opt to change the text in saying that Jillian is 3-4 weeks along, then it’s kinda optional to say ‘Well it could be ours, or Lyles’. Which isn’t too much work to make that happen.

Unless I missed something it seems pretty likely Jillian is pregnant in all runs. She only notices so early because it’s something she’s thinking about if in a relationship with a male mc. 4 weeks is early enough for some women who aren’t distracted by a zombie apocalypse to not be concerned. If she believes Lyle was sterile and hasn’t been with a man since I bet we got a few more weeks before she gets concerned, and probably much longer before a mc she isn’t dating is informed. No need for additional flags to be coded if it’s already a done deal.

I think a better fix would be just change the time part 3 takes to be a few weeks to a month instead of a week and a half. Its pretty hard to suspend belief enough to accept that a dozen emaciated run down people somehow cleared out a junkyard(by hand), potentially built(by hand) an infirmary, computer lab, 2 separate watchtowers, chicken coop, garden, laboratory, fixed the gate, and dug a 4 foot trench while also investigating two gas stations, a museum, a junkyard, a secret research lab, a secret military black site, and the silverthorne militia base while also having a bunch of free time and having a party while also cleaning and maintaining everything and scavenging and and and and and lol unless the kid is intentionally supposed to be Lyles kid which is iffy considering the whole birth control thing, WAY too much shit happens in part 3 for it to realistically have only like 10 days pass in game lmfao

Not sure I like Jillian’s baby daddy being certainly one or the other, at least during her RO route. Maybe I’m just a sucker for leaving some things ambiguous, MC possibly deciding it has to be theirs, rejecting it, or just saying it doesn’t matter whose it is. Although, if its Lyle’s, then it’ll show up in other routes which kinda renders that a bit moot, ig.
