Zombie Exodus: Safe Haven General Discussion (Part 3 beta coming in December)

It is still a demo

Yeah but this form doesn’t get checked anymore. It moved to a new one so u will have to search it on this site

The other forum is being used to discuss the beta. Once Part 3 is released for the wider public to purchase, the activity levels in this forum will probably skyrocket.

You can’t

@JimD in part 2 or 3 and in the future chapters is romancing the cousins Woody and Jaime at the same time provide you with unique interactions? Interested in a polyamorous one for the two.

Sure you can. Hell, you can have a threesome with her and Jillian.

That’s not romance since she is aromatic

It can be romantic for the player, still.

I’m imagining a scene regarding some Love Interests who got interrupted by the nephew on the last attempt at ā€œtent time:ā€

LI: ā€œHey Gina/Nora/Rachel, I’ve got a nice bottle of whiskey for you if you’ll do me a favor.

Gina/NoraRachel: ā€œGo onā€¦ā€

LI: ā€œI need you to keep the nephew happy, looked after, and away from his aunt/uncle/zizi’s room all evening.ā€

Gina/Nora/Rachel: ā€œSo you can bone your paramour to your heart’s content?

LI: ā€œā€¦Yes.ā€

Gina/Nora/Rachel: ā€œGive me that bottle, consider it done.ā€

LI: ā€œThank you so much.ā€

@JimD can’t wait zombie part 3 xixixixix

i have a random ish question but I’ve been wanting to get into this game for a long time but i don’t know if I should start on Zombie Exodus or Zombie Exodus: Safe Haven

Maybe, start on Zombie Exodus. Since it is already finished. Second, is because for me, safe haven is more complex to play than the former. So, better start playing on less complex, so you can get a hang of it.

So after seeing how the apocalypse changed Jaime, he might become evil and be the villian of the story you have face in the end.

Does anyone else get bad vibes from Colonel Goodman if your MC is a military service member? Taken at face value, everything he says seems to make sense, but his reluctance to elaborate on Colonel Faulkner’s absence, along with Colonel Faulkner’s electronic message instructing the MC to ā€œconsider any request for intel on your assignment by anyone other than me or a superior officer a threat to your missionā€, seems to strongly hint at a potential twist villain. It’s increasingly obvious throughout the whole story that individuals, teams, and potentially entire groups (company, brigade, etc) of military members are deserting and forming their own militias, raiding parties, governments, etc. We get this knowledge from what we know about Keith’s group and the FEMA camp that was forcefully taken over, and from Lopez who talks about his squad deserting (possibly other clues but those are the 2 biggest pieces of lore). Not only does Colonel Goodman not fit the criteria of either 1, being Colonel Faulkner, or 2, being a superior officer, but Goodman’s reason for Faulkner’s death/disappearance is pretty much just ā€œyeah a zombie got himā€. That excuse always bodes badly in zombie apocalyptic survival scenarios. Even worse, when questioned about Colonel Faulkner and attempting to stay true to Colonel Faulkner’s original objective, Colonel Goodman simply brow beats the MC, stating that unlike us, he was actually there when Colonel Faulkner died and that we need to just follow orders and hand over all our intel on what is supposed to be a secret mission. While it could be argued that that’s how the military works, the main issue I find is Goodman’s inability to elaborate further on how Faulkner died or on if it’s possible to contact a superior officer. My guess is that Goodman has gone AWOL and has established a new group with those formerly under the command of Faulkner and is trying to use the MC to find a Safe Haven (since he clearly has no way to find one himself) and then steal it away for his own purposes in the end. Of course, this is all just speculation since Lopez ALSO confirms what Goodman says about this ā€œNew Armyā€ initiative. Lastly, and I’m sure this discrepancy was deliberate, Colonel Goodman says that Colonel Faulkner died in an infected attack the first time you speak with him in Part 1, but in Part 2 when he contacts you again and you ask how Colonel Faulkner died, he says Colonel Faulkner died from a looter. Hmmm?! Screenshot below. Anyone got any thoughts?

This is a screenshot that confirms Colonel Goodman’s suspicious behavior and lying about Colonel Faulkner if you have high enough stats to detect it:

Edit, MAJOR SPOILERS: Turns out Colonel Goodman was lying and did start a coup to overthrow Colonel Faulkner. This is revealed in the public beta test for Part 3 when your character investigates Safe Haven Lancelot and meets Colonel Faulkner through an intercom. THANK GOD I DID NOT TRUST COLONEL GOODMAN.

@JimD

Quick Question - With you allowing us to pick and choose their ages once the game updates to part 3. Will we be able to choose their age no matter where we are in the story or must we start all over again and choose their age during character creation?

Will the story end would be at same point in public beta version and released as well for example my story ended with my mc escaping bunker safehouse with an amazing bullet proof car while my senior offered air support and i told my friends about my secret mission of marking all the safe zones as far as my memory goes at this point game ended is there more in released version???

Pls help

Is it possible to save Nora from heart attack???

I’m sorry but no

I’m re-playing pt 1 and I thought it used to be possible to kill all 3 soldiers taking Lopez…is that no longer the case?

I noticed some inconsistencies:
When the neighbours join the group ( in this playtrough Sean was my MCs neighbour) at first Sean greets my MC like they know eachother but later on the same page Sean introduces himself to my MC as if they didn’t know eachother.
When we go the the Museum peoples place, I thought it was just Brody, Rachel and MC going on that trip but then out of nowhere Bailey appeared to have some jealousy scenes when Mel seems to be interested in Brody, then Bailey practically disappeared again.
Also with the Museum people when I freed the slaves MC recognised Jude, but my MC killed him in part 2 so he shouldn’t be alive here?

There were some mispronouns for Ray too. My Mc is female so Ray is supposed to be female too, but at some places she got male pronouns.

Also I have question: When the zombies got in the junkyard, they killed Eli, Driver and Nora died of a heart attack. Can any of these people be saved or are they like Sifer in part 2?
