The scene with keeping Parker from being sniped has a complicated calculation. A high search skill will help the most. Having Jillian present will hurt your chances. I also recommend stopping and observing your surroundings or taking cover.
As for vehicles, the bandit Jeep, luxury car, military jeep, pickup truck, supply truck, taxicab, tractor, and passenger van all have the most room to carry supplies. You cannot take multiple trips back and forth from camp to the pharmacy but these vehicles give you extra room to carry supplies back
As for Benton, the easiest way is to expose him out of cover. This is not supposed to be easy because he is such a good shot. If you try to find him or tell your group members to shoot at him, he will not be able to shoot Church. Depending on other choices you make, you may then capture Benton since he has been nullified in the firefight.
@MrkPart 3 will pick up right at the end of Part 2.
Literally been checking yours and Paul Wangâs blogs and status updates regarding your respective projects w/eagerness over the past few months. If we can get Safe Haven Part 3 AND Lords of Infinity in 2020 I think Iâd honestly faint. Freaking love this series and replayability man
Comes after the battle on the hill and after the watch duty assignment. You can choose to go to the pharmacy with Jaime, the gas station with Kelly or do other things like forage for food and train the group in a skill.
I love part one more because for me the introduction for the world lores at the beginning of the game that make me really in the chapter. As for chapter 2 foe me in just some mundane task for surviving
Part 1 was still stellar for me but the campy atmosphere of Part 2 won me over. Survival tasks aside, didnât you enjoy the Battle on the Hill and the interactions in the camp?
My five cents for Reilly are the following: He was most of the time absolutely loyal and obeyed my orders. I always play good or neutral. The Key without being Raider like is empathy and persuasion/Leadershop or a good relationship stat. I helped him getting His mum Up the Hill and let him be Cook or let him make something Special for His mum.
I adore pretty much everything about the game. I am still finding new content as I try different playthroughs (currently trying to do a more amoral/evil playthrough, and an aged-up version of my teenager playthrough).
Regarding the ROs, thereâs characters that I like, and also like platonically more than I like as ROs (such as Brody: I love him, but as a friend/brother/mentee). Tommy is my favorite RO because of the variations in how his romance can go; from mutual healing and coping to MC leading Tommy further into darkness. I am also a sucker for his character archetype.
More Detailed Response to poll:
Favorite LI:
Rachel: She doesnât strike me as the Ava Wong; the scheming/secretly-working-for-the-creators-of-the-virus femme fatale type. She seems to care too much for the group for that to be true. And, letâs just be honest, I like a lady whoâs intelligent, charming, and deadly, with (what appears to be) a good heart.
Second and third place is a toss up between Madison and Bailey.
My MCâs best friend:
Jaime is hard to beat, in my opinion, even with his flaws and the mistakes he can make. His heart is as big as the rest of him, for better and for worse. Heâs doing his best to save a lot, which is a heroic thing, even though his profession as a bouncer did not prepare him for an apocalypse. His acceptance of the MCâs past, his willingness to help the MC with many things from the beginning, and how good he is with MCâs potential pets and/or nephew wins him a lot of points in my book. Plus, the guy is willing to go out of his way to get the MC something of their choice at the end of Part 1 and my favorite MC really appreciated the options of a new MP5, Benelli M4, or AK47.
Other top friends for me are Lopez(Treat him right, and he can give your MC C4 explosives), Madison(on non-teenager playthroughs,) Woody, and Gina.
Iâve really enjoyed every part of Safe Haven so far, but I enjoyed Part One just a little more for doing such a good job handling so many player customizations, backgrounds, and choices right at the beginning. All while introducing so many other characters and the setting of a world going to hell so brilliantly. Player choices can hit really hard from the get go, the infected high school is haunting (especially on a Teenager playthrough,) and the MCâs home, their original safe haven and main tie to the old life, burning down regardless of their decisions, really sets the tone for the story to come. . Part One is a brilliant foundation for rest of the story to build from. Thatâs my opinion, anyways.
What I kind of realized after several playthroughs as a combat medic, is that the only way to save Woody and the group on the hill is to have a high close combat stat and use either a knife, cleaver or katana. Katana is obvs my favorite. Guns run out of ammo so quick, so when my MC handles the infected on his/her/their own, the group usually comes out on top.
I managed to save Driver once, Rosie gets shot, Lyle died, and I shot the soldier on the roof. I donât have enough persuasion to get them to really obey, lol. Iâm trying so hard to save all these people and its hard.
Youâre right.
I chose for my character to be a soldier again, but like the head honcho in charge? I forget the exact term though I just finished playing it lol. People unanimously voted for him since the leadership and intimidation was maxed out. I also maxed out medicine because I need as many people to not die; went around patching people up. Its so annoying that regardless of whether or not they survive the hill battle, Nathan and Benji still die by coyotes of all things.
Somehow I made a mistake and now my character is caught in a lust triangle with Lopez and Jaime. Hoped beyond hope that Jaime would be cool with this, I mean, itâs the apocalypse? Let my character enjoy himself when he can, being the leader is stressful after all lol. Most likely in part three, Iâll choose Jaime wholeheartedlyâŚif he doesnât get killed due to his bleeding heart.
The only other options I want to try out would be Laborer, Teenager, and Hacker. I tried the Scientist route but it felt reallyâŚlike a prelude to a mad scient trip and I canât.
