Interesting – i always thought Maddie had some “old soul” parts of her personality … thought that might be attractive to people of all ages.

Well, she has more mature seeming moments than Brody I suppose. But she also has moments like that unsrealistic escape plan before the battle against the zombie horde. So while I think she was very well written, actually without those immature moments of her it’d be unbelievable that she is only 17, I can see how her romance might be not appealing for some people.

I agree that Brody seems more laid-back and not as mercurial — Brody has grown as a character this last part (2)
I think there has been a lot of growth of various characters in part 2 but not enough time has gone by for everyone…

Agreed. It just shows this game was planned with several sequels. Remember Candece from the original ZE and how late her character got any kind of development (I think it was part 4 maybe)? I found her really annoying too until that, but when she got over the mostly caring about which guy she can crawl into bed with phase and she started being useful like helping out my scientist MC with her research I came to be more okay with her character.

The Problem is I know she is 17, thats for me an Instant eeeewww. She is mature for her age, but sometimes the Teen shines through. As a friend she might be ok

Well It depends on the age my character has as I personally don’t play as myself. I think she has sense as romance for someone until 25 or so but no further than that. But not until she is like one year older or so. In Apocalypse maturity will hit faster so someone with 18 or 19 in that situation is far more mature that in a normal world

I do Imagine ages around 30 and Up, so the Gap is to big for my taste.

Makes sense. If someone can’t relate to a younger MC then I suppose Maddie romance isn’t for them… Or it’d come off a bit creepy imo. Tho let’s not get into the what age gap is still appropriate discussion again if I may suggest.

Out of curiosity, does that also apply to Tommy, Bailey, and Lopez?
If I recall correctly, Bailey’s a college student like Tommy, putting them both in the 18-22 range. And to me, Bailey comes across as a lot more innocent of the world than the twins, maturity wise.
I mention Lopez because going by his rank, if he enlisted at 18, he’s not much older than the twins, and likely no older than the college kids. You can rank PFC as young as 18, although Lopez does say he’s been active duty a while. For him to be much older than 20, he was either older when he enlisted or got his promotion to E-4 denied by his commander for some reason. I typically picture him as 19-20.
I played one playthrough with Tommy as RO. It was a Bit creepy but he was quite sweet, but I only played that once. I never dated Bailey and Lopez is for me around 25, thats ok for me.

You have to direct that to support in the app there is a report bug to support feature They are the ones that handle that because there can be many causes etc…so you need some technical assistance for them they are pretty good at their job but need being noticed

Given that she’s already lied about (or at least hidden) something pretty important I can’t help but wonder what else she’s hiding 
Probably nothing, but IC I can’t help but not trust her.

Truth be told, I don’t care much in the meantime. Granted, I am rather suspicious of her and will keep a closer eye on her actions as a result, but you simply cannot deny the cold, hard fact that she is a survivor and a damn good one at that. I need every useful hand I can get on deck.
Hopefully, there’s no great betrayal but if it comes to that…well, let’s just say a new grave will soon be dug up. Whether it’s for me or Rachel, though, that remains to be seen.

Honestly, I’m not mad about it either really, we’ve only known each other for 3 days which isn’t enough time to actually get to know a person nor is it enough time to expect a person to trust you enough to share a secret of that magnitude. So it makes sense to me that she wasn’t honest about who she really was or why she didn’t share her true mission in the first place. As for her manipulative nature while it’s true she could use it on us, I think it’s a useful skill to have especially since we are now in a world where everyone is desperate enough to do whatever they have to do to survive and if Rachel can manipulate other people for our benefit and it contributes to our survival, I don’t have a problem with it.
