Don’t ask questions like “what did you do with your mom’s corpse ?”( it really pisses him off and quite frankly, it’s rude and not our business). Don’t loot his house for supplies even though he gives you permission to do so. Most importantly, do not shift the blame to someone or something other than the Makarovs or tell him he needs to process his trauma.

Actually you can still rob the house and he’ll still come along. Just be generally nice to him(regardless of reason) tell him you’ll help with his revenge and let him go to proccess his feelings.

In my playthrough, our relationship wasn’t as strong as it is if I didn’t rob him. So, I don’t decide to rob him.
I rob him blind and he loves mara all depends on what you say him about vengeance He even tells you grab all that remains in my house
I agree. No matter what his actual age is, now that is a relationship I’d be uncomfortable with, even with just the option being there. It’d feel predatory on the MCs part. More so than adult MC romancing Maddie or Brody even if that’s the bigger age difference there. Imo what Driver needs is a good friend beside Rosie whom he could rely on, rather than a romantic relationship.

Even tho they both were patients in a mental institute I think Rosie works better bc she doesn’t seem to be stuck with the mentality of a child as Driver sometimes does.

About Madison and Brody Depends on the age of character someone 20 to 25 wouldn’t be so weird end in love with them in a situation so close and with time. if we found that weird nobody will reproduce and then no humans and no more age gap.

I see your point. For example a military commander MC (I think that’s one professions requiring an older MC) romancing a teenager would be an unhealthy relationship too.
I understand your point however assume that because X is older than Y. X is a monster that will abuse Y no matter what. It is not fair. My grandfather was 10 years older than my grandmother he was a saint and they love each other etc.
More in a situation like this that human beings are almost wiped out.

I think we misunderstood eachother here? I’d like to think that I am kinda tolerant when it comes to age gaps. So in this case I’d be fine with 17 year old Maddie or Brody romanced by a 20+ MC, but for a 17 or 18 years old (in part 3) romanced by a 30+ MC, now that’s trickier. And I included 18 years old too bc normally people don’t get magically more mature overnight just bc they become 18 years old.
Edit: Also just to be clear I’m not saying the older person would necessary abuse the younger person, I’m just saying that it’s kinda hard to imagine a 35 year old (or whatever the oldest our MC can be here based on the background) being in a long lasting relationship with an 18 year old bc I’d assume they aren’t at the same place mentally… Tho if we also count relationship which is more about sex than the romantic part of it then maybe that could work better? But that also isn’t the kinda relationship where I can imagine two people staying with eachother until they get old.

What I am trying to say is age doesn’t mean one will be abused. People same age could equal abusive. And with time having an account is Apocalypse relationship can have a dynamic different from normal society. I myself no romance them with a character more than 25 or 26 but I could imagine situations with time and be close during months a romance born from that

I’d recommend robbing Tommy’s house anyways.
I did so and I still managed to keep my relationship with him in the mid to high 80’s. Besides, willingly giving up an opportunity to scavenge for supplies, even when the owner of the house said that it was okay to do so, isn’t something I’m keen on doing.

I did previously opt to scavenge Tommy’s house, after he gave permission but then he would never join my MC’s group. Its tough to just pass on potential resources.
If possible I would prefer to scavenge and still have him join, can that be done somehow?
Those supplies honestly are no big deal, never once scavenge his house…
But like others said , Tommy might still join if you scevenge his house
When you talk with him at the end don’t ask about where he took his mother and don’t try to talk him out of his revenge plans (I normally go with saying that he should be careful while he goes at it, that more or less is something my MC would say and doesn’t result in an outburst from Tommy). I think those are what decreases his relationship stat.
As for scavenging his house. Does he even return there after leaving with his mother? Anyway since the Makarovs already went through the house @Eric_knight is right here, there aren’t much useful stuff left there.

Yes as I said he gives you permissioni to scavenge the house.I just see most easy person ever to recruit tell him you will help his revenge and you know who kill his mother That’s it
I always comfort him about his mom while at the house, then offer to help, then scavenge, then run outside to offer to help again. I think I read once that empathy might be helpful?
Then when he shows back up at the burning house, I ask him a couple of the questions, avoiding asking about the body. I’ve never had to offer revenge, but I have accidentally started a romance with him because it sees hugging him as such.
