Do they die after Sifer and Gina join you? When you try to climb up the hill? I don’t think the teams matter there it’s more about playing to your MCs strengths. (Tho if MC isn’t a good fighter neither good at social skills like persuasion then you are practically screwed?)
When we try to climb the hill. I’ll try again and use close combat and persuasion. (I had previously just made it to the top and started sniping, thinking I could save them from a distance)
If you have a large group and help Reilly’s grandma when prompted you should have an easier time (at least I usually do).
Edit: Replied to the wrong person What’s Reilly’s grandmother’s name again
With persuasion just encourage your team whenever there is the option. With a fighter MC I think you need to attack the zombies about to blindside your people.
I think that was your problem, even when one of my MC’s had level 4 or 5 ranged weapons sniping wasn’t a good decision to stop people from being ripped apart.
@Johann Nora and she’s his mother not grandmother
fuck it’s been too long since i played
I didn’t participate much in the Hill Battle when it came to actual combat. All I did was save my dog, rally the survivors and helped Nora. Yet everyone still lived at the end.
Your problem could possibly be your team compositions. Try to balance out the highway and field teams so that they both kill lots of zombies.
A good composition would be:
Highway:
Brody.
Church.
Driver.
Jaime.
Kelly.
Madsion.
Parker.
Tommy.
Woody.
Field:
Bailey.
Benji.
Jillian.
Lopez.
Nathan.
Nora.
Rachel.
Reily.
Dante.
(Rosie isn’t included cuz I always kill her. What can I say, I’m not a big fan of people who shoot at me and threaten to kill my loved ones).
Also, if you have the bandit jeep with you make sure that Driver operates it. He gets a lot more kills than he initially would have without it.
As a person has played more than half of players in the world sniper is never worth while except correct weapon more than 5 and even then no worthwile from metagaming perdpective
If I recall correctly tho it’s been a while. Sniper works if you join Maddie then after saving Tommy you attack the zombies which would rip the team apart.
Yeah. But other options are far more safe and worthwhile from a meta perspective.
What could be safer than that? Maddie and you, if you join her, distance yourselfes from the battle as soon as possible. You shoot the zombie attacking Tommy from a distance and since you use ranged weaponry I don’t think you need to get too close to the zombies after that third choice either?
@Johann Helping Nora up the hill isn’t that important for a succesful battle (saving everyone) I think, rather I’d go that far that it distracts the MC from doing more important stuff like encouraging the team for example. Basically all the reward to that is that you get relationship points with Reilly (and I assume with Nora too).
How do you recruit Driver? Can you have both him and Jillian join the group?
Also: Is there any way to save Sipher and have them join?
Don’t bring Jillian to school, go in unnoticed and don’t kill Rosie. They’ll both appear outside after you save Jamie, and Sifer is dead no matter what.
Sipher has to die is set to die. Driver just dont kill him and dont cause zombies in school killing him is really easy
For those of us who read this months newsletter:
What did you think of the 5 factions that will have a very prominent role in part 3 ? Which ones are you interested in building alliances with and what did you think of how our relationship not starting out as either positive or negative(raiders included) until we the player do something to change their perception for better or worse ?.
For me It not about wich will go on a team. It about parting. Like Jamie and Driver and Rosie. Mc and Tommy. Paker and Kelly even tho they won’t do nothing to help ether way. The more higher your combat it will help the team your on.
Also if says I’m new my last email got hacked but luckily I have 3 emails
I dont think I will have contact with anyone the newsletter has given me a very pessimistic vibe of you are a hippie or you wont have any options except kill everyone. And i am not hippie
Well it’s to bad I didn’t get but you mentioned raiders and I hate radiers and will kill all of them
@poison_mara 2 of the factions are raider based, so I don’t think you’ll be limited to goodie 2 shoes behavior when interacting with them, hopefully we’ll be able raid,& murder to our hearts content with them.
@AgentJordaan123 Just because 2 of the groups are raiders doesn’t mean you automatically have to be enemies. I get the hate for the Silverthornes, and I’d think we’d have to kill them all eventually even if we did placate them for a moment but I don’t know enough about the Payne Gang to make the decision to just attack them for no reason other than “they’re bandits” because that isn’t an actual reason to go to war with them when we don’t have enough information on them or really reason to make an enemy of them. Not to mention a lot of people seem to be forgiving and accepting of Rosie & Driver who are bandits(I’m not, one of those people but, that doesn’t mean, I won’t listen to what this group has to say before I make a decision about them) . Also, the newsletter said they’re friends of any MC’s who live in Stodgy farms meaning we can be allies.
I read it and those raiders way to be described basically SURRENDER KILL THEM ALL … Nothing let me hope something that is not surrender and become slaves or kill them all Because I am a raider.
and yes Jim wrote that we could have a different array of choices in base our behavior.
Mara only choice will be kill them due they ARE RAIDING others. And Mara is raiding others.
Mara DON’T live in country. As I say I won’t have other choice.Rest of people probably will turn them saints or something trade… I can only imagine a coalition to kill New army or Keith. But that would
END IN A VALENTINE MASSACRE
