Zombie Exodus: Safe Haven General Discussion (Part 3 beta coming in December)

Same as you, i think gas mission is important especially if we want our vehicle to continue running, and just like in Mad Max … eventually gasoline is what everyone going to compete for.
And it is a good interaction with Kelly, totally discover a different side of her … not to mention the potential of gaining new allies…

Last but not least, it was a fun mission…

It is but is BROKEN for evil characters. Because if I do the mission my stats get totally switching around and Mara text become in Mrs Hippie. Of course I could metagaming a choice Mara would not choose to not switching the stats but I am a role-playing. And the mission has Kelly on it so the fun is nowhere as Mara is trying to killing her sadly no choice to launching her to the baby. lol

The mission is great but sadly is made only for good characters so my characters have because coherence in text away from the gasoline

To be fair, you can opt to threaten/rob/outright kill the River Dogs instead of helping them. The real problem of it is that there’s no option to present the food offering as reason for building relations and instead it’s portrayed as an altruistic option.

Talking about role playing, the mission with Madison going into the barn was the perfect place to get all my anime customes …

Mara wants helped them to reach their base Like Silvers did with Kelly. KILLING them have no sense the logic is fake care and searching an alliance Then after searching their place attack or if is better alliance . Not just kill guyswithout know the reaxh of their group

This is my first time romanceing Kelly and I asked Keith if he is inserted in kelly. I never knew he was like this. He is Sick Fuck who must be delt with.

What did he say about Kelly that was different than what he usually says ? I thought he just called her attractive. What’s your problem with him besides the obvious problem that most people have with him ?

I only played that in Beta romance Kelly but yes he had a nasty remark if you were romance her. Something like he doesnt care… I don’t remember exactly. What i remember if someone says that about my bf That person is about being crushed… creepy guy.

Huh. If you tell Keith she’s your girlfriend he basically just shrugs it off from what I remember. Were the other choices any different? I only recall the second one being that she’s in a relationship with another group member :man_shrugging:

He just shurgs it off. My problem is if You know someone in relationships with someone else and you say how hot is In front of their boyfriend/Girlfriend I would at lease give them an apology. But he just say oh yeah I see. Then he Kinnpads kelly witch I hope things go well for her. He creepy sociopath who was spying on us during lake scene I think he was looking at Madison.

His dog Benton reminds me of a worse Simon from the walking dead. Wyatt is okay I won’t kill for now. Natline had Gun to Nora, My nephew Simba, And my dog Pablo she will Die!

I hope we get the option to scalp Keith.

You seem to be expecting morals or respect for others from a guy who sees keeping children alive as a weakness and considers them a liability. After I found that out about him, I really don’t expect him to have that much decency to begin with. So it really isn’t that surprising to me that he gives 2 shits about your relationship with Kelly. If anything, I’d kind of expect from him based off of how arrogant he presented himself to us.

Okay. Maybe I am too dominant or something But Hell. If another person takes in front of me how hot my bf is and all the gestures he made you can see with high empathy. Then he says something or shrug like he doesn’t care. In my camp… Keeping looking at him lusting my bf…

“I WILL TORN HIS EYES OUT. IS MINE CREEP”

What it makes ot worst is that he wants her like she were a trophy you can sell to him. Like a property. In fact it sounds like a pig dealer. By the way I want Kelly for me.

WHAT IF YOU HAVE COLT PYTHON TO THE FACE SLAVER?!

I would ask if he’s interested into kelly then tell him that I’m romancing her and he’d go quiet and kinda check me out first and then say “I see…Good to know” I guess it depends on how intimidating your character looks/is for him to be cautious about what he says

I will butcher benton. He thinks hes a vicious killer but he’s nothing compared to my MC. I’ll humiliate him in any form of combat. Natalie and wyatt are cool so I’ll let them live. Keith…he’s a maybe for right now but if he even touches kelly I’ll end him on the spot

No I think is same except I think with high empathy you notice something that he is lusting at her also If you negotiating with him he direct Tells He wants Kelly for himself now. “as emissary” or something like that. That with his admission he has slaves and forced camps. And He wants make a forced farmer of me…

I mean he deserves all hate Creepy slaver. Also you have to remember That ALL of them are slavers and is heavy hinted they massacred lot of people and children. No one of them are cool. And they want slave you

Speaking of killers, what’s your MC’s highest human body count if you have one ? Or the total number of zombies you’ve killed ?

I killed the every one their is to be killed. Zombies 185

Before we jump into the Silverthorn hate bandwagon once more, I’d like to point out a specific paragraph in one of the newsletters:

A lot of talk in forums and my social media relates to the Silverthorne Militia. Many players believe the Silverthornes will be the main antagonists to the MC’s group. This is not entirely true. The Silverthornes may very well be antagonistic to the main group, especially if Natalie or Wyatt are dead or Benton is dead or kidnapped. However, the Silverthornes are a group who have specific motivations and numerous members. They will not be a one-dimensional group.

So while I hate their guts, I’ll definitely be keeping them on the neutral side…for now.

Thanks for pointing this out. There are numerous factions at play in Western Colorado too.

I have kind of given up on reminding people of this because people keep finding their own reasons to want to kill or hate the Silverthornes(which is fine). But it doesn’t seem like people are paying attention to the idea of the possible enemies that are or could be waiting for us in part 3 and are instead focusing their rage and enmity towards a possible enemy that they created through their own choices and how they handled the situation. Yes they gave us a Join us or die ultimatum and I wouldn’t expect a long term alliance between our group and his but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t an opportunity to pacify them at least for the moment and give us time to think about how we’ll handle deal with them in the future. I hope people understand I’m not shaming anyone for going whatever route they did with the Silverthornes, I’m sure it will make for an interesting storyline and I’ll probably try it in one of my playthroughs. I’m just saying that even though they presented us with an ultimatum it didn’t necessarily mean that fighting against them or telling them straight up no was our only way to handle that situation, if you didn’t want to join them.
