Demo update: May 26, 2025

The first part of chapter 2 has been implemented into the demo. It adds ~29.7k words to the demo.

Features:

  • Spend a bit more time with Sloan and E
  • Get to meet 2 more of our cast members
  • Learn a bit about the town of San Arima and explore some parts of it
  • Get some clothes of your own
  • Wander into something you probably shouldnā€™t have

Other updates:

  • You can now randomly assign genders to the Roā€™s at the start of the game, if you would like too.
  • Fixed various spelling and grammar errors
  • Implimented the stats page
  • Implimented various visual assets

Oooooh, I love your update, itā€™s awesome (especially that I can romance more than one teehee :grin:) the characters are amazing, I love E and S, such a great pair. The deputy is cute and I have a suspicion that L is more than a con-artist :laughing: Iā€™m looking forward to meet our last RO :heart:

A wild west CYOA? Thatā€™s pretty rare, I think, and Iā€™m already interested. But I admit, some of that is I like we get a nice variety of some ā€˜rougherā€™ beauties for the gals, with some scars and stuff. Personal thing of really liking that. The fact I can make my own gal look all scarred up is equally right up my alley!

Just missing being able to like, wear a stereotypical cowgirl outfit with largeā€¦ tracts of land.

Anyway, looking forward to more, and learning more about our ROs! The fact I can see we can get with multiple (perhaps only of certain pairings) is a big plus for me though. Itā€™s hard to just pick one sometimes, you know?

Demo Update: August 16, 2025

The last half of chapter 2 is done and out! The update adds another 45.8k words to it so its the biggest update yet, but I have the feeling theyā€™re only going to get longer from here.

Features:

  • Spend a little time with most of the ROs. (Sorry Morgan loverā€™s, theyā€™re coming next I promise.)

  • Go to a bar.

  • Get caught up in a bar fight or run away.

  • Try not to die.

  • Start to get involved with something strange in town.

I plan on trying to get the next update out by the end of october start of november, so keep an eye out around that time. :slight_smile:

Oh man, it was an awesome read! I think this is one of those games where I canā€™t decide who to romance, everyone is just too interesting!

Just a curiosity but since this is a Weird West story, does the MC have a horse? Iā€™ll follow this along, very interested in MCā€™s past and those ā€˜thingsā€™ that MC is (was?) hunting down.

Like it so far, the customisation is pretty sweet and detailed.
A couple errors I noticed:

A hungry look sits in her eyes as she stares downat you.

downat ā†’ down at (also on a separate note how tall is Sloan, Iā€™m playing a very tall MC and sheā€™s still considered ā€œtoweringā€.)

ā€œHe didnā€™t need to do that.ā€ Your brow furrows as you look back at the bag.

Also Sloan is 6ā€™6ā€. The tallest option you can be is around 6ā€™4ā€ so sheā€™s always got a couple inches on you.

Mini demo update: October 15, 2025

Got a small update for yaā€™ll. A bigger one is coming in the next two weeks, but I got some bug fixes done and such so hereā€™s a little something to tide you over in the meantime :slight_smile:

Features:

  • Additional option during bar fight scene. You can now run away if you feel like it at the start of the fight, allowing easier access to other scene endings.

  • Added another dream sequence with Morgan at the very start of chapter 3, more on the way <3

  • Added section to the personality stats that allows you to see how you acted in the past.

  • Grammar and spelling fixes.

  • Minor bug fixes.

Found this on my binge of supernatural wips for the spooky time of year and I was so impressed. I cannot resist a weird Western, a good mystery, and choices with bloody consequences.

Itā€™s very early in so no strong feedback, Iā€™m excited to see where everything goes. I absolutely adore a ā€œBattle not with monsters, lest ye become a monster, and if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into youā€ character arc so the crueler choices are particularly compelling and were definitely my favorites. Iā€™m having a blast but unfortunately traumatizing the ROs in the process. Worth it tbh.

Gotta say, Iā€™m not usually a particular fan of western stories, but this has certainly hooked me. The characters are all interesting, the setting is unique, and the most interesting part is the ongoing mystery of just who the MC was before the story starts. Gotta say, I love having control over past!MCā€™s personality and creating a dichotomy there, so while my present MC is a playful and friendly guy (who may be a bit psychopathic), my past!MC was a stoic and distant guyā€¦who was definitely a psychopath.

Also in regards to the bar fight, Iā€™d like it to be stated on the record that I acted completely and totally in self-defense, and if that guy didnā€™t want his face mauled, then he shouldnā€™t have tried to kill me.

Anyways Iā€™m really looking forward to seeing where this one goes.

Hey super small nit pick but it stuck out to me;
ā€Edith seems to notice your discomfort, ā€œYou probably want to get cleaned up huh? Thereā€™s a bathroom through that door, you can go take a shower and such if I could just check your injuries first to make sure none of them still need to be bandaged.ā€
There pretty much were no showers in the wild west or pretty much any parts of America during this time period, maybe just edit it to say take a bath? Otherwise great work so far.
