The voice is most likely connected to the reality powers almost like a fourth wall breaking teacher or something. Precisely too many unknown variables at the moment but I strongly suspect it is someone with telepathic powers sending the warnings. Though I will be happy to be proven wrong if not I do always love curveballs so to speak.
