I’ve begun work on my new ChoiceScript game, Town of the Ancient.
It’s a supernatural Wild West interactive novel where your choices shape the journey through a dangerous frontier filled with outlaws, strange powers, forgotten legends, and mysteries older than civilisation itself… well, some civilisations.
You play as a wanderer/outlaw on the edge of death, right before an entity offers you a second chance at life. Caught in events far bigger than yourself. And as the one request the entity has in exchange for giving you a second chance, you set out to find the legendary Town of the Ancient - a place many seek, few know of, and even fewer ever find.
It’s about one of the most interesting interactive Wild West novels that you’ll ever read. Get ya saddles ready and let’s ride HIYAA!
Currently, the game is about 10% complete (1 Chapter, 26,286 words), and I plan on updating regularly. About every 2 weeks.

It came out in 2014. 12 years later it still holds up as one of the best Choicescript games ever. I heartily recommend it.

will this game have a cogdemo link or just an itch.io link?? I only ask because my preference is cogdemo because I tend to have some issues with itch.io and the site. Anyways, the game sounds fun.
