[WIP] Suevi

Hey everyone!

I’ve begun work on my very first IF, called Suevi.

The short of it:
You are a Germanic clan member who is captured after a skirmish, enslaved and sold to a Roman family. How will you fare in a world that is completely unknown to you? What relations will you form, and how far are you willing to go? Will you stay, possibly forsake your gods and find new ones to believe in, or will you stick to what you know and try to get back to your old life?
And what role does the person who enslaved you really play in your life?

Currently it’s only the prologue with around 5.4k words total, and I plan on updating every 2-3 months, of course depending on the length of the chapter and how much time I have.

Oh, it seems so interesting, love that we are a Germanic tribe member and especially when you can play as an albino :grinning_face: can we play with our own names, please?

You already can! I should mark the option properly as such.
It’s the option “I have a different name.”

There will be politics, but not a rebellion, no. It’s an interesting idea nonetheless!

I love the concept and what you have so far!! Can’t wait for how this ends up. However sadly the save slots are not working for me?? Hopefully this can be fixed, thanks & best of luck!!!

Thank you so much! About the save slots not working: I don’t know why, but they don’t seem to work for me either. In other IFs, I can save my games, so it’s not my cache being full (as suggested by all the answers on Google). I’m not sure how to fix this, but I’ll troubleshoot it and look for answers.

It seems to me you have the saves turned off. You can change that from your game’s settings on COGdemos.

It’s the option in the game details to allow save slots, correct? I’ve had it turned on from the beginning, so that can’t be it :frowning:

Edit: I found the answer. It’s either the browser cache or people try to save scum way too early, lol. Just save on the next page, after making a first decision, that fixes it for me. Much love <3

Thanks! This was really helpful. I think though the biggest reasons for the saves not working was that their was apparently a limit to how many saves u could have. Which I didn’t know about. :joy:

When you’re playing Hide and Seek, and listening in on the conversation, it might be that you can’t “tell” the brothers apart, not “keep”.
