(WIP) Scales of Justice - NOW AVAILABLE! (Last update: 02/01/2025)

I’m so happy to hear that!! The atmosphere of the chapter did change drastically from one scene to another, and I’m glad that it transpired as well as it was planned, hahaha.
It’s always fun to realise how, although all chapters have similar length, some feel longer than others because there is less variety in scenes/outcomes! Hopefully, Chapter 7 won’t feel short… It’s going to be a big chapter to write.

Ah, I’m always a bit hesitant to mess with saves in case it bugs people’s saved games, but I’ll look into it!!

In what chapter will we meet Arion/Aria?

@Frieza If you have read all the chapters (1-6), then you already have!!

Please tell me we can get rid of A.

Also is it supposed to say handsome, cause I was playing with Asha.

Everyone dies, sooner or later. Sometimes, rather later than sooner.
Not in the near future, I’m afraid.
But you can always make their life a little worse.

I’m a bit confused on what you mean!! Asha is a netural name for both male and female. If you refer to handsome being commonly used only for men, I used it here as a neutral adjective for both genders  Hope that answers your question!! xx

I was playing with Aria, so I was just making sure it’s supposed to say that. Getting rid of them first chance of get though, already had R forcing themselves with us.

If we choose to have strategy as our primary stat, can we still use a bow later on in the story, and increase our combat stat?

Also, as someone who believes in free-will, I will definitely be destroying both artifacts. Innocent until proven guilty, and innocent until a crime has actually occurred!

Hi!! You should be able to increase your Bow Combat stat if you choose it as your secondary stat in Chapter 2!! Please, let me know if there is any issue related to it. xx

/A feels proud of you/:relieved:

Lol darn, cause I was hoping to romance Reina. Speaking of, do you need high persuasion to convince an RO to change their views?

Also, I may not destroy them. Basically, my logic is that if we have the amount of free will to exile or execute them and change destiny that way, then can’t we help them be better, and change destiny through mercy and kindness rather than ruthlessness and suffering?

Haha, well, I’m sure R will fall for you!
Scales of Justice is a game where stats don’t have effect in major character interactions. You can use Persuasion to convince someone to not fight or to trick someone into a better deal, but when it comes to convictions, SoJ relies on your relationship with the person, and their own background. Some ROs will happily follow you into a new way of thinking. Some will respect it, as long as you respect theirs. Others, will find it hard, or even impossible, to reconcile your actions with their beliefs.
However, don’t worry about it just yet!! Luckily, any big impacts on your friendships/romance are still a long way away. :innocent:

The artifact indeed gives you a lot of freedom of choice… it all depends on how you choose to act, or who you choose to believe. :eyes:

They can be dangerous all the same if the wrong person gets it which why in my play through I will destroy them so no one has go through what we did. I guess this goes to show that villains are not really bad guys. My only problem will be my childhood friend getting in the way probably trying to claim it for the heroes.

And I may do that too. Let’s just say I’m undecided. I believe that the innocent deserve protection, but I also believe in redemption, so it’s a complicated decision.

You are right, it can be dangerous in the wrong hands, but in the right hands it could be used to do a world of good.

HAPPY NEW YEAR – GIFT PROMPTS

Ho ho ho, Happy New Year to you all! I wish you all the best in the upcoming year, health, happiness and all your dreams to finally come true! Love yourself and others, and share some sparkles in this magical night. I hope you will remember it with warmth and a bright smile.

To those that are currently stuck in less comfortable places, and struggling to see this night as a good one: be strong – you will prevail, I trust in you and your brave hearts!!:muscle:

In hopes to make your evening even better, I’m here to tell you that I’m posting NY prompts on my Tumblr page. There will be 4 of them, 1 for each RO, and they’ll be coming out each hour untill all are done. They’re a romantic peek into your life together with each of them – all involving a certain part of day or night!

That’s all for now. I’ll soon be back with more information on Chapter 7.

I love you all,

Julia.

Question, is Asha male, female, or gender selectable? I haven’t met them yet and am just wondering.

They’re gender selectable, with both male and female genders available through the two options of mixed RO gender! xx (I do not remember which is which, but their gender goes in pair with S)

Glad there’s a female option, I always like when more ROs are available to me. I like gender selectable more than if Asha was just female though, because while Asha’s available to me, now they’re also available to someone who’s into guys.

I know what I will do with the artifacts. I will use them to see if someone may be a villain in the future. If yes, then I will simply keep tabs on them (nothing brother eye-ish, just how they’re doing in general). If they start going down a dark path, I will simply try to help them come back. Only if they actually commit a crime will I take punitive action. Mostly imprisonment, if I do implement execution, it will be reserved for only the most heinous crimes. (I am a merciful man, however some things may be beyond forgiveness.) I definitely will not become hostile right of the bat, like the current government, because these “heroes” seem more like villains to me. (See what I did there?) Also, I may have to get a black Arabian as a reference to The Black Stallion.
