I love this WIP so much. I always choose the healer MC, but I don’t feel punished for it in the moments where we need to fight.
You did a great work with the ROs, they are so lovable, and they respect our MC as their leader, I couldn’t ask for more. Valerius is a menace (in a good way) and so much fun. Shoren is sweet and cares so much for the MC. Robert is so selfless and honorable, and I think he deserves relax a little and enjoy himself. The only route I didn’t play yet is Asha’s, but for what I saw of our interactions with him, I will like him too. Cute grumpy :3

Thanks everyone for the nice comments!! It makes me so incredibly happy to see people enjoy all the different options this story has to offer. Especially I’m glad to see people comment on V and R, as they have received a little less feedback than the other two ROs, and I wanted to know what people thought of their arcs, too.
It’s even funnier since mc doesn’t know what a phone is, but they are like “well, sounds like fun, let’s do it”. Or, an other option I really enjoyed was playing grumpy (I don’t remember the exact words): “I don’t want to follow you on this, this is dumb.” V: “Funny, how you still keep following me.” You can play pretend-grumpy. I like that a lot. Still agood thing MC doesn’t know why it is they are breaking into the mage tower.
Highly urge you tackle fixing the grammar in the upcoming betas and polishing phrase. That has been the biggest deterrence for me in reading this interesting story.
Hi!! I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed the game - this was, in fact, the last chapter for this book, but as you might have noticed, it’s not the end!! I really wish to continue with this story forwards, if fate so wishes: I have a plot in mind that has just begun, for now many powerful players have focused their sharp, ruthless eyes on a single creature…there’s a lot to come, and a lot I wish to explore together with my audience!

Was i supposed to be able to make it all the way to the Visionaries Tower because when i tried another RO it stops half way? Anyways love the story and i absolutely love the characters!
Hi, I’m so glad to hear you’ve enjoyed the story!! The beta was open for a full-run for some time, so it depends of when you played! In theory, currently you can only get up to Chapter 5 - is that correct, or have you recently been able to arrive to the Visionary’s Tower? (In which case, how odd, it should not be possible)
I played it not too long ago maybe a couple days after i was able to arrive at the tower i tried another route and it eneded early. Either way im excited to purchase the full version when its out regardless.
First of all, I’m very sorry for disappearing for so long. I have been posting some updates on Tumblr, however, these past months have been mostly filled with academic work, paired with some thorough SoJ revision. Now, I’m here to actually ask for your help - I’m at a crossroads for my next steps with the novel, my options being the start of its official BETA test, a continuation of its revision, or… I think those are the two main ones, actually. Truth is, I came to understand that it’s very hard to be fully contempt with a work that saw my growth as a writer. Now, after a year doing a MA in Creative Writing, I have a polished style that I’m very happy with, and I know that my further work will only get better and better, hopefully, managing to entertain you in the process. I’m eager to continue moving forwards, and so, I come to you to help me decide whether I should officially begin a BETA test for Scales of Justice: Book I, or whether you consider it to be a piece still not worth your investment or an official publication. It has been a long journey, and I feel like I’m incredibly subjective when judging my work. So, I turn to see your input!
