Hello, I’m happy to announce that Chapter 3 Pt. 2 is out. The update contains 161k words [excl. code].
Total word count: 369k words [excl. code].
The update took me a while mainly because of my health issues [you can read more here], and I’m incredibly grateful for everyone’s patience and support.
What awaits you in the update

The return from the crime scene to the department [main story evening scene].

Evening scenes for all the ROs.

Two sex scenes + a small bonus scene with the secondary rival [depending on your choices].

ROs’ POVs [including a few hidden ones].
The updated demo also includes polished Chapters 1 and Chapters 2, with some content slightly rewritten [more customization options, a less silent MC, more opportunities to push back against R, etc.].

All of the ROs are appealing so it was difficult to choose who to romance first, but I’m simple- I see yandere, I romance.

Also how dare the orphanage lady dump her guilt on the MC like that to try and absolve herself… It would obviously only cause pain to confess to them what awful thing she almost did, just incredibly selfish and I was happy I was able to tell her that. Should have kept it to herself and suffered the guilt silently as penance

Same. Only prefer when it is optional to player.
I played max deaths in RP games before. IMMEDIATELY having to Paragon run after doing so.
If its not optional, and are a very bad villain that deserves everything bad against said villain? NOPE. Avoiding.
You think MC has an alter ego or some split personality ?
Ik you didn’t ask me but the opening and the MCs weird dreams does suggest something is up with them, so who knows whether they have lapses of time where they aren’t control of their actions/don’t remember them

Thank you for writing and for the update!
Great work writing these characters, you actually got me quite attached them, particularly to Lexie and our sister, M too albeit not as much as L (I am heavily biased towards long-term friend romantic characters, particularly when it’s sapphic lol.)
I’m praying so hard despite not being religious that Parker and L don’t hook up or anything after that end of current content POV scene, I mean, I’m planning to do the sleepover with L anyway cuz wifey too cute and traumatized not to, so I won’t be dealing with the possible consequences anyway but uuuugh.
On a separate note, please let us at the very least jump our sister’s ex, if not kill him if he actually was hitting her.
Speaking of which, I wonder what they actually are, are they implanted memories or fake memories or our own, are we a fallen angel or perhaps even Lilith or a Cthonic entity or are we simply some person whom is heavily related to seemingly supernatural phenomena?

I get that secretly evil twists aren’t everyone’s cup of tea but as someone who went digging through the entirety of the author’s Tumblr once I finished playing… It’s pretty safe to say there is at least something going on with MC imo.
Theory, not a spoiler below:
From theories that have been entirely blurred except for sentences such as “the player is the danger” to the author’s repeated mentions that all of the cast are red flags who have done bad things, I really doubt our hands are spotless. Even if we’re not the killer, I’d bet money there’s something really wrong with the detective that may end up causing harm later.
Which I, for one, would love it if that’s the direction this game is taking. But figured I should put that out there just in case it’s a deal breaker for others.
Besides that though, great game! The atmosphere is wonderfully crushing and I will be playing through all of the RO routes, with as many different combos and detectives as I can think of. They’re all so delightful to watch (although M and K are my current favorites). Really looking forward to seeing where this goes and trying to piece all the clues together :]

“Secretly evil” is one thing. “Baffled by things they should know” is what my issue is with. The MC’s internal narration doesn’t look like someone who knows who the culprit is, let alone someone who is the culprit!

They could be the culprit without knowing they are the culprit, though. It could go either way, we’ll just have to see what the author cooks up!

I been watching. I am fine with being a ‘murderhobo’ MC when those targeted are themselves bad as well. IF MC is going after innocent, I will cut out, unless its a choice on that part. I recall the intro. The MC did take down whatever that protective thing was. Which did kill many people if I recall. Then got defeated (thankfully) and completely wrecked. I did cheer on the enemy winning. I was thinking that was well deserved. I actually didnt go back after the ‘current day’ intro quite a time ago. Was waiting for more content to get an idea if could choose NOT to hurt innocent lives in the reincarnation form. Idk about hurting those that deserve it in the stories.
