The thing is, in Choicescript IDE, I manage to play the whole demo until the end without any errors… this is why I do not understand why the public demo, which have the exact same files, have these errors.
I even ran some quick tests and some random tests, and it doesn’t give me any errors… So I don’t understand since the code itself seems fine, and the software read it and play it correctly… could it be on cogdemos side ? I don’t know how the website works…
Okay, I updated it again I think it was the export on my side which wasn’t saved correctly, so when I put it in CoGdemos, it was the old file… It should work now !! Sorry for the troubles ! ^^"
All I know is that the file on COGDemos doesn’t have those gotos. Or at least in the demo I could find. Are you sure you uploaded the files? Maybe you made a new project and we’re playing the old one?
EDIT: ah, okay, you posted while I was writing.
A little update I’ll post here, world building is going fine ! Still a lot to do, but I have all kingdoms set up, more characters fixed, some lore fixed and that’s already a lot !! (to be fair, it’s taking so long cause I want my ideas to be original, but it’s hard to do so with so many stories out there)
Hello !! I’m currently struggling to write the whole world building, I knew it was hard but not THAT hard to be consistent, been some days I didn’t manage to write anything down…
World building can be surprisingly challenging. Small progress helps me, as well as reading a few craft books or exploring any other form of media—to let myself be inspired or ask what-ifs.
To be honest, I have kingdoms, characters, some important informations, but finding THE thing that makes the whole plot is hard… any tips on what I should work on ?
Don’t do more than your story needs. I mean, if you like it, then by all means continue, but if you’re already struggling there’s no need to go Tolkien beyond what’s necessary for the story.
