[WIP] Dark Contract [working title] Dark medieval fantasy

Chapter 2 and the unfinished part of getting two rewards.

More than one religion. I haven’t yet decided their names. While none of them for now are fully against magic (their priests and priestesses use somewhat healing magic (weak healing magic, there are no full heal and go right away back fighting) ), they frown upon “evil” magic or making contracts with spirits, mostly because breaking a contract sometimes means death or worse. So witches aren’t favorite citizens since they make their living mostly by contacting spirits and making deals.

Being overlord is one of “work in progress plans of path”. Can’t promise, but there is a posobility.

Can’t wait to see the possible paths we will be able to follow!

An interesting concept that was recently pulled off. The reason i say l decent is because it’s pretty short. However i do say that you have wrote something that has potential and I’m interested see how it’s done

Hello,

For all of you wondering if I’m still working on this game. I had to step back and fully concentrate on my school work.
I’ll be back working on the game in the end of May.

@matt_smith First of you have your right to express what you thought, but srsly why are you coming out so rude? And if the [quote=“matt_smith, post:65, topic:15112”]
That demo was disappointing it made me uninterested on what will happen next.

Made you feel like that, why even bother? saying this: [quote=“matt_smith, post:65, topic:15112”]
Try adding more chapters and it might make pople want to read more.

No worries. I don’t get easily offended. I might remake the beginning, but only after expanding more the rest of the story. Can’t wait on getting back on working on it.

Remember people constructive criticism. If you’re not actually telling someone how to make their game better, you’re not actually helping them.

I like your mechanics with ask, say, ponder and do - a very appreciated innovation.
Keep up the good work.

I also want to report a little bug:

I notice both of their souls had lost almost half of their force even if these humans didn’t look that old. On the other hand, the witch herself was like a fully bloomed flower, bursting with energy that an old human like her shouldn’t possess and lastly, the soulless boys body – seal after seal ornamented ${her} flesh. Some were fresh, like those painted with blood, but others could be few years

should be something like soulless ${girl}s body

While I enjoyed the demo, I did feel as though the “guess which animal to sacrifice” choice was rather pointless, as it has no effect on the game (since the element, and thus animal appearance, have already been chosen), and just serves to annoy people who don’t realise that fire=viper, for example. Does this even need to be a choice?

Regarding the map: the coastlines look great, but the rivers are very jagged, and look as though they join up at the centre of the continent, which they generally shouldn’t (if there’s an easier way to get to the sea, the river will take it). It might make sense to work out where the mountains/highlands are before adding the rivers. Out of interest, how large is the area shown?
