It was the council, that did it. It was declared in conversations. It also states King is not over the council either, if I remember correctly.

Well at least I know now itâs been a while since Iâve played. I would more of our past to see the build up of events that eventually got us there. The most we did was get a mum and practice fighting as well teaching that jerk a lesson
Isnât MCâs father one of the council members? and wasnât it MCâs father who threw MC into the street? so, I definitely think the father has something to do that poor MC was tortured the last 10 years.

I have to say this wip has me excited I usually always do the good guy route but so far I donât see that happening here. My MC is apathetic feeling nothing is just less of a risk. If the kingdom is saved oh well if it burns oh he just wonât be going out his way to help anybody.
I picture him as a curious person treating the end of the world as a game of sorts. Viewing the teams wishes as a sort of monkeys paw or a genie in a bottle sure heâll do whatâs asked but there is a consequence for getting his help. Pain is only thing heâs known for years now itâs all he has so itâs all he can give.
My edgy character aside this was a cool demo hope to see more.

Iâm absolutely hooked on the premise and the characters!
I love playing the totally NOT unstable and only slightly insane character with bouts of apathy/dissociative tendencies!!
Not sure how this work is going to play out but Iâve been playing as a character whose morals deteriorated over time and now has a warped sense of whatâs right and wrong. Who may or may not be itching to go on a suicidal killing spree.
My MC as a child: Nooo killing and torture is wrong even if theyre a bad person!!1! 
Now:
NPC: Youâre a monster!
My MC: ??? Sure I killed him but itâs not like I tortured him?? It was quick and painless. Plus it was for a good cause. He was annoying.
NPC: Iâm going to kill you!
My MC: Yay! 
NPC: fails and gets killed by my MC
My MC: Aww⌠
Also the voice in my head is my new best friend. Sorry Sam, I love you but heâs very funny and has a lot of good ideas 
I am typically not one for poly routes but I quite pleased with how theyâre written so far. Iâm so used to the obviously not originally fleshed out poly routes and just was added as an afterthought that the characters lose any personality and/or agency/reaction towards the relationship. This was a breath of fresh air.
Itâs rare that I deviate from my typical fictional RO type that isnât flirtatious/bastard and/or brooding/angst.
But I absolutely adore Quinn, theyâre both someone I want to be like and is 100% my type in real life. Sheâs gotten my heart already.

At this point the MC is just a wild card and has probably gone insane but itâs gonna happen after decades of torture and we couldnât even die cos itâs hard to kill corrupted
so far the only one I have seen that might be a poly route it involves the person that is in charge of the mc and the kingâs child

Actually thatâs the only one looking like. On their Tumblr they confirmed it cause Sam doesnât want to share, and it wouldnt make sense for how they are now as well, and the Maverick guy doesnât as well. Only other one maybe possible is the elf chick.

Maybe laughing a lot MC for this one, can we pretend to be insane just to mess with this people, I donât like any of them seriously if I can I want to do genocide run in this story, that includes killing sam and entire order even the king and the prince, I donât like that sam didnât even lift a finger for us, if itâs other way around I will try to save Sam, but Sam inactivity is the last straw for me, there is literally no reason to save this people, no motivation whatsoever to be a hero.
They treated MC like a monster then they will get a monster, itâs only fair.
I normally does not go there but this people doesnât deserve good life while my MC is being tortured and go insane.

Yeah MC becoming a vessel for the evil overlord or fully taking over his powers for themself. I think I will also go this path. 
My childhood rival is already ripped apart. One down.
