We know the thing in our head was part of the Kings weapon. They shattered it, the shards spread out. At least that’s what I recall.
I really hope we can eventually kill our “mother” or at the very least make her feel like the scum of the earth for the whole game.
Not really all that hard to label something such hence why i stated what i had and its based off what ive seen in game. If you want the exact spot that supports my statement lol i would half to go through it again which i will at some point. Yet based of my now vague memory i still stand by my post.
They do call them demons.
She really expecting us to forgive her for decades of endless torture locked in that room and only let us out as a weapon when a situation popped up. She’s delusional and deserves some kind of punishment.
Im like 99% sure she doesn’t expect that.
She deserves death. My Mc will kill anyone for a quick laugh.
Probably right about that but she was so surprised I acted out on the first meeting. What was she expecting to happen. MCs mind is probably destroyed at this point after all this time
It just depends on the MC on what happens. By the sounds of it no one checked the MC while locked up apart from making sure we kept bleeding.
Death is too good and peaceful for someone like her tbh
My goal for my play through is to prove the haters wrong. That just because my blood is corrupted and I have an evil voice in my head doesn’t mean that my soul is corrupted and I deserve death or torture. And killing my sad mom won’t help
My MC just does what he’s been told because he doesn’t care what happens anymore.
Same here, with maybe a very tiny, little bit of hope he’ll just be left alone after it’s all over.
I doubt it. We been bind to someone so they can control us. They might try to throw back in the room when everything’s over or at most would want that to happen
Oooooh I know, I’m not getting my hopes up (my MC is a different story, clearly). You can ask if it’s possible to not return to that cell afterwards and get like… the weakest “maybe” ever, haha.
My character literally don’t give a f about everything that happened. He is fuming but shows apathy to everyone and / a bit politeness with unstableness. I rather torture them with my apathy like I wouldn’t give af if the mother’s son injured somehow that should do the work
Tbh though my MC is very eager to hurt Mom in some way (though he wouldn’t go as far as killing her), he is careful of his actions because he knows what he does will have an effect on other corruptants as well. Because just imagine the optics of it from the public’s perspective: This one time a corruptant is given a “chance” by the oh so kind and benevolent higher ups (sarcasm), this ungrateful demon goes on a revenge killing spree. That will just worsen the belief the public already holds about corruptants being irredeemable demons who should be put down. At least if my MC shows he’s more than what people believe him to be, people might be more willing to see the humanity in corruptants. My MC knows he can’t convince the public to change their opinions overnight, but he can at least plant the seeds of change.
I havent played this in a while but from what i remember with how i played my character she just didnt care anymore. Like all the theatrics with the other characters coming back into her life she doesnt care.
Also i usually think the whole “old friend” trope is good and im for it but with this story im content with my character beginning and ending alone atm. My mind may change as the story goes on obviously.
To me this is the type of story that i got to play it cool because otherwise i would pick every angry option. I want something different but boy is it hard.
The characters definitely deserve those angry options but they also deserve the silence to their “forgiveness”.
I’m waiting for the update to find out why we got locked up. If rumors were true or not.
I withhold judgement til I know. Not sure when that will get clarified. I blame the demon shard in my head for screwing me over to begin with.
If I hadn’t done anything wrong, then the council (which father is part of) will most likely suffer. As they also control the King, apparently. I don’t blame the councils minions, I blame the leader themself/selves. Minions just doing what they were commanded or they get it worse. If don’t know how to keep a minion in check, it’s via threatening their loved ones, not the minion themselves. That’s ignorant if threaten the minions life directly. Less likely to get them to do things, more likely if its someone they hold dear to their heart. It causes loyalty issues, sure. Thats the case in both aspects. I blame the council 100%. The mother forced to do her job. Not sure what would happen if she didn’t listen. Her life? Her kids life? If i was the council, I’d threaten the kids life for obedience. Which is how it tends to work for criminal elements too.
I wait until I know more of why.
We were probably locked mostly out of fear and to develop ways to counter corrupted people like us such as the weapons they made using our blood. I’m more how we even got there in the first place than anything else. Someone definitely made our imprisonment happen but we don’t know who the person responsible is yet.
