Oh thank goodness for that. Well how about the place already has some inhabitants that you can/will interact with. Trading stuff with them or they can be killers which you have to avoid. A carpenter or architect to help build stuff? A business man or woman who can negotiate trade deals? A military personnel who will teach you survival skills? A computer or techno guy/girl who can fix broken radios or even make some items that can be salvage. Example your phone, they can make a solar charger for it, but it won’t have a signal. Still you can use it as a flash light or as something to write things on. A nature lover! Don’t really know what job that is, it could be hippie? Having them could make you find food that can be re-planted so your group has at least stable food? Don’t forget one person must be mentally deranged and will try to kill everyone or he/she will only spout nonsense. They are useless, but you can use them to distract wild animals and they make great alarms if they see something strange lurking in the shadows.

You don’t have to add them if you don’t want to, I was only suggesting random characters. If it helps then yehey if not oh well must give more ideas.

I just realized you will need someone who has some knowledge in making purified water or else everyone will die of dehydration. It could be the carpenter or someone with health knowledge even the techno geek can make them.

@Doctor Yes, fairmath is used like this %-10 or %+10. On average Fairmath has only half the effect of the actuallly amount you give. It’s to make sure higher stats are harder to increase and easier to decrease. While lower stats are easier to increase and harder to decrease.

From ChoiceScript themselves:

On average, Fairmath has half the effect of simple addition. So, for example, %+ 20 usually only gives the player about 10 more points.
If you want to give a small bump, make it %+10. If you want a large boost, make it %+40.
A player with a skill of 50% has average ability.
A skill of 60% is good; 70% is excellent.
80% skill is almost impossible.

Got everything working great as far as I have written… anybody know how to use the dropbox? Is there a way to download it, or is it a section of the site, or what?
