Will a yokai mc who has claws be able to use them in the bladed path since in the description of it it says anything that has a edge can be used in it
No, its just that i want same sex romances to be in this game. But i can’t really do anything about that, so I am just disappointed. It just alienates me from the book.
@Fenrir1 Love the flavor, adding it to the list.
@Jonard_Conejar I had planned to have kitsune as their own thing but they are pretty iconic, I’ll add it to the list
@Tyrant_Evil sorry to see you go
@Itzthedapperlionyt you’ll find out in roughly 2 updates, but you might regret it
@Hector_Lopez apologies for that, I got tired of breaking people’s saves so I stopped updating until I had some content ready. Currently there are 2 bugs listed in the titlepost that can break the game.
Also give mc(if mc is from blacksmith background and also have learn handseals) an option to not only make very powerful and legendary weapons but also to put multiple layers not just one layer of multiple very powerful and legendary enhancement on weapons.
And somehow Jack is an RO.
It took time, but RO tab was updated to show hetero only.
Thankfully will keep others from being misled and miss out as well. I was in the same boat as yourself.
You can flirt with Jack with female MC so he is probably a RO too.
I stated the self reflection alone is male MC not female MC reflection. I havent checked if was altered for ladies. Uncertain i will get back to it, yet.
So, yes, it was mens perspectives in scenes.
Wrong person you’re responding to.
Also this has been here already
Can ninja get a patner like zabuza had haku or a wepon partner like kisame and his sword
The first one you filled in is going to right person in first paragraph. The second half was to author. I checked and seen it was fixed into RO tab to stop confusion. So i will edit that post.
Edit: A lot of what I wrote below is now incorrect as the demo has been updated.
According to the code, you gain 1 prestige (1 prestige in code = 1% in stats screen it seems) automatically by becoming a thunderfell sect member. Then in chpt.2 you gain 1 prestige for succeeding in the mission. The only mission outcome that gains you an extra prestige point in that chapter, is bringing the bandits to justice. Then you have a chance to gain 1 more prestige point (but only if you did the justice path). When Mao offers you a slave from the bandits, choosing to let the person go instead give 1 prestige. If you already have more than 2 underlings, that choice becomes choosing to let both the new slave and your underlings go, for 1 prestige.
So by the end of chapter 2, you can have a total of 4% prestige if you brought the bandits to justice. Total of 2 if you chose a different option for them.
In chapter 3, choosing to earn funds and doing any of the options that require a combat core skill + normal skill check and succeeding will get you 1 prestige. Also doing guard duty and choosing Rin or Jin gets you 1 prestige. Choosing Kosuke gets you 2 prestige. Winning the chpt.3 Tian fight gets you 1 prestige (you do not get prestige for the peaceful resolution that prevents a fight). It’s possible there is time to do both guard duty and a few of the other core skills/normal skills options for more prestige.
So by the end of chapter 3 (if you did justice path in chpt.2 and let your slave go), you can reach at least 7 prestige if you do guard duty and choose kosuke and win the Tian fight.
Chapter 4: If you choose “look for survivors → treat wounds” you get 1 prestige (need at least 1 alchemy and a number of reagents depending on alchemy level). Announcing yourself as your clan name and having 4 or more prestige gets you 1 prestige point. Scanning for aura pressure and succeeding the insight check gets you 1 prestige.
TLDR: If I didn’t fumble the numbers here, it’s possible by the end of the demo to earn at least 10% prestige. Chapter 3 during the 12 month period, it’s possible to earn more if you keep doing those core skills/normal skills missions in earn funds and guard duty. But I’m not sure how many is realistically possible to do in one playthrough (if you don’t cheat ofc).
I really enjoyed what you have so far in the game! The scenes were engaging and sometimes funny. The characters aren’t there just to keep the MC company. I like how they are out and about doing things. Keep up the good work!
So @cultivator-anon can MC still be op without martial arts technique and relying on just their own physical power to do the job
Yes but some rolls will get more difficult. You’re soon to be competing against people who are prepared for you and classically trained.
If you do lift the cap, will there be a lore reason? I do like that so far we’re not exactly a chosen one.
So is a 5 core ability going to be enough or will u combine two stats
And will we be able to fight the boar
Probably not enough, there’s a 6 core ability check
Depends on the check, the Trials are going to be a loooong event not just one day. Some Techniques increase the amount of Core points you can spend to artificially raise your stats. Currently if you need 6 power and have 5, you spend (empty) one power core and succeed. Some techniques increase that number so you can spend 2 and succeed a 6 difficulty check with 4 instead.
And yes The Boar is on my cut content list in the opening post.
So choosing to let the guy go boosts prestige, huh. I did contemplate that option the first time around since my mc is not totally amoral even considering the kind of world they live in. Except when the bandit tried to turn things around me and demanded he should be let go since I’m supposedly such an honourable person. Then it was clear to me that he did not have even an ounce of remorse over what he did so releasing him did not feel like a good idea at all anymore. The scene to put him in his place after that was pretty vindicating so thanks for that Anon-san.
Besides my mc would not want to keep him around forever since it would probably become redundant at some point and he world learn how much it sucks to be a slave/servant(and imagine how much worse he could have had it). There are even a couple instances of pretty humorous flavor text with his presence so even knowing the potential prestige boost I probably would not release him if only for my petty self satisfaction. Or sic him and his friends on the Sunbringers territory.
Speaking of which, I wonder what the benefit of doing that will be. I would assume that since there is a stat check for it, there will be a greater benefit for it and since prestige will apparently be a pretty important stat during the Trials, maybe there will be a higher boost in prestige down the line
I had messed around with the jobs but I completely missed the rise in prestige. Good catch! I suppose the amount of times you can afford yourself to do the jobs hinges on if you’re willing to miss out on the AP from training with the siblings and Kosuke as well as their supposed increase in combat variables since they each take more than 1 month. I’m unsure if the month used to teach that training technique to those three is worth it since the AP alone sure as hell isn’t but the narrative makes it seem they are at least stronger.
Sidenote, the job with the blacksmith background to forge chi infused materials gives a good amount of shards and a fair bit of AP which can mitigate loss of AP gain from training, unsure about jobs from other backgrounds though. Also, I’m unsure if 1 month to increase a skill by 1 point is worth it, especially if there is planned flavour text, since you can easily earn 300 shards from half the jobs for a 3rd skill book.
I went back to a save and brought the alchemical reagents to treat the villagers’ burns(if I understood you correctly) but the option was still greyed out. I guess you need at least a point in Alchemy to get the option? At least the reward is still good if you have access to the other options.
Phew, this ended being way too long again, sorry about this. And thanks for going through the effort you did
Looking forward to see what the author has in store next.
