I’ve already got the Zenshin (Japanese) style sword and the dual pair is based on chinese myth so I’ll probably go with the Cathayan (Chinese) naming and have them be Jian style blades if I add them. For now I’m focusing on sea adventures.

Is there a claw style coming for midorikatis path?? Or maybe i missed it?? Makes since for the cat race who go down that path to use there claws since its the most primal path. Just curious. Still love the rither way

Sounds dope, someone else asked for a kusarigama too. Every weapon I add is more complexity when mentioning them so I’m not open to every idea, but a claw weapon could go well with having natural Yokai claws mimic their effects mechanics-wise.
Speaking of which, could fish, octopuses and other animals that live in the sea become yokai?

If fish Beasts can advance to Sea Serpents they can certainly Advance into a lizard yokai progenitor like any other, that’s already listed as one of the four ancestor options for the Reptile Yokai racial, so in theory it can be done. Now what to do if they want to advance a different way. Fish do have tails after all. Hrmm…
While I don’t think it would often lead to true Yokai, as the human form isn’t as superior in the deep sea, I can definitely see something there. Perhaps a savage Beastman kind of society. Definitely not some advanced Aquaman stuff but there may be something to it, something you may eventually encounter.

I was talking about the natural claws lol sorry for being unclear. Im the unarmed style type player and i love fighting like grimmjaw’s panther form from bleach. And the kung-fu tiger style is my favorite style. Not tryna put alot on you just asking if you see that style in the future updates
A Kappa Yokai is more probable in my opinion. But thats just me.
It wouldn’t be a style but I am looking at a way to use your yokai claws in the “equip” slot if you get trained by the right person and have the right ancestry.

Hey I just wanted to say I enjoyed the game so far, for multiple reasons one the game as it is so far is fun. I also enjoyed it because my favorite animal is a monkey so playing a monkey yokai brings a smile to my face. And my final reason is I am a fan of martial arts and mythology so seeing a story this good in a Work in progress game for me is something I enjoy
When using the beam it says that it’s a “fire element event” despite having Storm as my element, and the text below correctly describes it as a lightning bolt.

Aura Pressure is increased twice here: once directly, and once through the subroutine. As the result, the increase is effectively 2x of what the option in the Cultivation menu says (on average, ignoring modifiers in the subroutine)
What style do y’all think would work best for a monkey king character?
Beast style- Immortal seven times over, fast and strong to fight all of most of Heaven by himself, king of monkeys and beloved by horses.
