I’m not a native English speaker so I’m probably wrong but if I remember correctly “she” is to refer to everything that is of the feminine gender and “It” is for everything that is of an undetermined gender so why the MC refers to the bird as “she” and then says “it” again (I’m sorry if the answer is too obvious or if everything I said is wrong)

About this… We already know how to absorb gates better thanks to hand seal technique… When we beat fang and absorb the gate alone, all kinds of technique activates to help us absorb better… And yet when we’re sharing the gate, we didn’t use any technique to better absorb the gate.

@Empress_Nightmare This did give me a bug where I had forgot to increase your element rank, I’ll see if that fixed it but if you have “Darkness” as both elements that’s wild and shouldn’t be possible, can you send a screenshot of the Element listing at the top of your Stats page?
@Tyrant_Evil It increases your Aura Pressure by 800 and allocates it to your stats for you. If you fully realize it (choose yourself instead of your friends after Chu’s training) that boost increases to +2,000 AP.
@JohnKittz just an evil way for me to make people try playing without it sometimes, helps playtesting as a side effect. In the released version I’ll turn on some Achievements for it (choice-based achievements) and still turn off others (difficulty-based achievements).

@Sailendranath_Murmu Originally I had you get a flat amount because you’re splitting it with someone who has their own tricks (she still gains less than you though), but now that the Handseals increase is due to a tangible Seal you learn I’ll add that particular bonus back in for when you share the Gate with her.
@Wiliam_Rafael_da_Sil In English there’s an unspoken and unofficial rule in common dialect that you can refer to unfamiliar animals as “it”, like if a deer sniffs your friend’s hand and pulls back you can say “I don’t think it likes you” and it wouldn’t be out of place. It’s not written in any language book though so yeah I can change that, especially because it’s almost slang and a weird exception. No one would refer to their pet they’ve had for more than a few days as “it”.
(I forgot to run an unequip script before changing an item’s bonus, fixing it for the patch)

You could put a little text saying that because of Fang’s madness the mc can’t make any sudden movement without it attacking you so it’s only possible to absorb the basic (50) of the storm (to me it seems like a plausible change that makes sense without having to change much in the game code)

@cultivator-anon Don’t know if you know of the Fate franchise, but honestly it has quite a plethora of weapons/swords that I feel like will fit right in with the genre of a Cultivation based world. Kanshou and Bakuya were already mentioned, but here’s a few more that I wouldn’t mind seeing.
The one that makes the most sense has to be Monohoshizao; The Laundry Drying Pole. Why? Well, because it’s the sword of Sasaki Kojirou, the sworn rival of the real Musashi. Feels fitting to maybe have a sword fight during the Trials with an opponent wielding such a blade… And Sasaki’s signature technique of Tsubame Gaeishi is all about speed—being able to slash three times in the span of time it takes to make a single swing. A most compelling reason to let it gives the wielder an Agility increase in my books, in case we someday get a hold of it…
Though it’s just an idea (I have more but imma keep it limited to this one for now), so feel free to ignore this if you feel! You are the author after all!

Can you obtain the Muramasa as a demonic practitioner or is it an exclusive weapon of Akakiru?
It’s supposed to be for Oni and Akakiru only right now but that’s a good point.

What weapon do Midorikatais get?
Only Akakiru gets a special weapon as of now (being a weapon-based Style), but more weapons and weaponcrafting+enchanting will be available in chapter7+ when you get to Nanhou.

I disagree. You make a game like this and it’s automatic you will get “weebs” playing it. It’s based on a anime/manga genre. I believe adding stuff is playing to his audience. I could be wrong though.

Exactly. And if you think a game having a strong female MC and a selectable female cast is based on anime, then i don’t know if you all are even weebs to begin with.
I think they derive this idea from the game setting being common manga/anime material. I’m not sure what you think you’re saying by bringing up “strong female MC” in this context, but if your idea here is that anime and female protagonists are somehow mutually exclusive then well, you’d be quite wrong.

Actually I am not wrong. What you are talking about is your shonen anime waifus, not the protagonist or MC of said shonen anime. And before you reply, please consider, we can go on as long as you want, i can do this all day long. But the mods won’t like it so, drop this topic.
What am actually talking about are the classic works like those of Hayao Miyazaki. Maybe try to presume less. There’s no need for you to “do this all day long” when you’re wrong to begin with.
