So if Aura Clash was an anime, this update was the end of season one, road to Nanhou arc. Next arc Trail of Ascension arc, Second season Thank me, weebs.
For sure, I was even thinking how this next update would be a good finalization if it was the first game, then people can import their saves for the Trials as game 2 so I quit breaking saves. Alas, CoG hides such functions from us peasants behind their publishing.
Nah. The way it ends it feels like the end of that arc naturally.
And you are kicking demon slayer’s ass. That overhyped piece of garbage is nothing compared to Aura Clash.
Hey, so I just randomly remembered this part; you kinda need to go on the Exorcist mission, and then free/give Jiha a body to possess, and she then gives us 100 AP and a single core increase, for the end goal of getting as much AP as possible.
Can’t wait to see what’s going to be the consequences of that not-so-smart descision!
Oi there @cultivator-anon in the last fight with Taio#2 in the sewers if MC goes with Heavenly Darkness and hasn’t got the second element from the Taio#1 incident or from the shop and the element 1 is Darkness, the choice to get the second element with Taio#2 is Darkness and you can get element 2 darkness while having element 1 darkness which we get with Angelo’s help.
@cultivator-anon what does the jade dragon foundation do? I will be honest, i thought it would do more, like allowing the mc to learn a second style or a third element. What are the other foundations? And does the ice element affect akakiru? Because ice can form blades and other sharp and pointed objects.
i think is just a fancy way of saying that now you are op as close to a dragon and will never lose but sadly banned forever from the heavens of achievements because you are too great for them
Can someone explain to me why achievements are disabled with cheats in these types of games? I understand it on console games with cheat codes but I don’t think choice of games has a achievement tracker like console so I don’t see why they are disabled.
@Tyrant_Evil it’s basically for people like me who wanna be a OP one in a kind monster. A power fantasy setting basically at least as much as it can be.
But how does it make the MC op? I didn’t see anything special in my playthrough, just people swooning over jade dragon foundation. And even with jade foundation Jack is still more powerful than the mc and the mc clearly struggles with even the weak characters. The mc absorbs the demon gate still struggles with Taio. And even then Taio only loses because of Kosuke and mc spending all the cores. It’s not power fantasy when it’s inconsistent.
You can be OP as much as the story let’s you.
He can’t rewrite the story to include entire new fight scenes (I wish but that’s entirely too much to expect involving a cheat mode) but he can add mentions, give you super boosted ap, cores, make you feel powerful.
Like I said it makes you op as much as it can. Within the limits. Not much will change, but it does get mentioned a lot more than other “cheat modes” which is super unique in of itself.
Even the fat trainer will mention it if you use the special dialogue for it saying “I’m not” when he asks why you are weak.
No check fails, you’ll pass all stat checks.
Its literally written in the game that the story won’t make sense with this mode. You can’t have both bro, be the most powerful and still expect the story to make sense.
Achievements are disabled because in cheat mode you are not really playing a game, but reading a customizable novel. In achievements, you have to use your brain to get skill checks, which Jade foundation removes.
For the scenes to work in the story timeline there will be force nerf down for MC In some situations [that is in Jade Dragon path].
I suspected as such
@SAHIL_RAI I’ve always been against cheats/cheat codes disabling achievements/saves inside of single player games. I feel like if you wanna cheat the achievements then so be it. you only take away from yourself, but I can see others point of view as well, arguing against it. Just seems weird to me. Thanks for the answer though!
Seeing people take inspiration from Emiya for their characters brings a tear to my eye
I think on a subconscious level I also based my character on him albeit with a different approach.
Summary
Comes from a blacksmith family but does not have the Akakiru style. In my mind, this emulates how he knows the in and outs of weapons(among other more mundane stuff) and how to use them but he has no inherent talent in wielding them so he’s far from a prodigy.
My character’s training in the Kurokonton style, which has a couple things in common with him. The Malocchio eyes pertain to his copying nature and you could certainly consider him to be an assassin. If we go further and say Kurokonton Martial Artists would use disposable weapons at their convinience then it fits even better.
The Cores I have leveled don’t really match though. In a sense, you could consider Emiya’s Soul Core to be the highest if we equate to this system and that’s my character’s 2nd highest so it’s not too bad.
In terms of other skills, he knows a bit of everything, his greatest strength being in Crafting and making use of his knowledge of Handseal rituals whenever he can to scrape out any advantage.
The elements I chose have nothing to do with Yin and Yang though.
The one thing that’s put me off lately is when choosing a weapon, I just had to go with the bow, it was too good to pass up. And it did line up perfectly with my high Agility and Soul Cores, I was cheering in my head! But, being curious I checked out what the kunai did and it was also amazing with Agility and Soul Cores plus it synchronised with the style for extra AP… So that’s a conflict I’m not sure I can resolve…
On that note, since the weapons you can choose can synchronise with your style, can they alternatively match up with an element? Because if they don’t, I feel that’s an idea to consider so you don’t feel bound to a single one of those weapons as the only kind that’s great for your style.
Not saying you should make the benefits stack, rather check for the style and element, then if at least one criteria is fulfilled we get the bonus AP, so players can feel a bit more free when making their selection.
…there’s a sword named Muramusa in the game now, it wouldn’t be out of this world to request the married blades: Kanshou and Bakuya to be included right?(those are the Japanes names, they’re called Gan Jiang and Mo Ye from the Chinese history they originate from)
They don’t have to be op weapons, there’s no need to implement a dual wield system if it’s too complicated, they could be a cameo or just something used by a badass adversary which you face in the future(or not).
The historical records only describe the pattern inscribed upon the blades so there’s room to get creative with the design as well
Anon-san, I would melt into a puddle of joy if they were to show up. Consider this to be the heartfelt wish of this peasant reader.
I don’t know if it is intended or not, but using the weaponbuff handseal on the Muramusa katana also gives another free power core, it easily makes it most the broken weapon by FAR.
