You can easily take care of both, and there’s plenty of room between “neglecting” and “spending all your actions on them”. Like, you can give your siblings training, take Jin with you to the monastery, have plenty of interactions with them over the years, and still have time for Kosuke and get together during the mission from Mao.

I actually noticed this myself last night. I think its kind of obvious why: its a benefit for any time the body is used as the primary weapon. That’s pretty often. Overall, its basically a style that is good for everything the MC gets put through. I think its also the benefit of it being one of the more… basic styles. It’s basically muscle brains as far as the MC knows thanks to the state of Thunderfall. They don’t even tame animals. So anytime you throw a punch with meaning behind it, your style triggers.
