Why are 99% of demo links saying file not found??

Every time I try to click on demo links now it says page 404 not available, even on newer threads/demos.

Most were hosted on Dashingdons. As it no longer exists, anything not reuploaded to another site won’t be available anymore :cry:

Edit: If they’re not dashingdon’s do a cookie/cache clear.

Are they Dashingdon? If so, those links are dead since Dashingdon shut down

Also COGDemos did an update a while ago that changed the addresses, and it’s possible all links haven’t been updated.

if it’s on cogdemos try adding /mygame to the end of the link if it’s not working and it’s not part of the URL already

If the link is from cogdemos, it would be a quick fix. Just add “/mygame” at the end like LGonza said or clear your cache like Jacic said.

If it’s from dashingdon, sorry. Those are gone for good. While there is a chance that some games have been archived, you won’t see people posting those links as the game is likely not theirs.
