On an unrelated note, my only real complaint is that you can’t save Nickols and his team from the anomaly. I liked that guy.

Yep, kept Willie Pete until end. Reason, it was stated very early on fire is ‘effective’ at the Anomaly and only that. When given it.
I only killed when necessary. Avoiding killing in many scenes.

Oh not me lol. I killed every Uvarov Agent I could. It took Herculean restraint not to use the phosphorus in the lobby of the hotel for a higher kill count. Turned the banquet into the theater scene from Inglorious Bastards.

Same here, The only time I held off was when taking on the cops, partially because of the Mendez thing and partially because I had no beef with them. Otherwise, it was John Wick time

Avoiding kills as in making sure precise shots and such.
Killed lots of U agents. Tried not to kill NAPD, several scenes within a building were no choiced. No marines from my hands.
Those choices were there. The U agents weren’t a choice, they were kill em all regardless.
Edit: i had no qualms on shooting specific targets.

I also feel like it’s more practical to avoid cop deaths whenever possible as a general rule (which pays off even if the exact WAY it pays off is unorthodox), while the opposite is true for Uvarov.
Uvarov’s enforcers may be more elite than your average cultists and operate with impunity locally, but they’re still armed criminals and from what I can gather, try to not let people know who’s ordering their hits. From the public’s perspective, they’re just another group of criminal enforcers causing chaos and said chaos is initiated by them regardless of what you do so you can’t really maintain a low profile. Your cover isn’t jeopardized by killing them. The press will spin this as you being a terrorist no matter what so it’s best to just kill them now so they can’t shoot at you later.
With cops it’s a different story entirely. You leave a trail of dead cops in your wake and that’s going to make this a lot harder than it needs to be. People are going to notice that and the department is going to go Bonnie and Clyde on your ass. And sure enough, even though Uvarov can manipulate them into putting way more effort into hunting you than normal into hunting you specifically, and it may SEEM after the rocket drones that they’re already throwing everything they have at you, it turns out they were still saving some stuff until you actually inflicted any casualties on them.
In addition, while we’re allowed to do things like kill cops and other incredibly illegal activities if it’s necessary to stop an anomaly, I’m pretty sure GU would prefer you at least TRY alternatives if it’s not too risky to do so. That stuff still causes problems down the line and until the helicopter, there’s no real need to kill any of these people. It really just makes you more visible. The moon is already not the most politically stable, no need to make things worse.
Uvarov meanwhile is just a straight up covert enemy of the nation (and the universe). GU is onto them and if you kinda expect to have to get rid of them. It really only helps the situation in the long run to bring them down. Any of their goons you kill just makes it easier to mop up any remnant cells after you burn the whole thing down.

Never use the White Phosphorus grenade until that moment.
When it was given to you. It declared that was the only good weapon against it. That was why I kept it.
I’d add unless you’re aiming for one of the “middling” ending which are the only ones that let you get together with Castle or Driver. Then you can have fun from early on and go the otherwise denied rifle path, since you’ll be skipping the anomaly to get that ending tier.
But if you plan to take out the thing, then yeah.

How does one get Ending 7?
Flirt with Castle two or more times, save the Ark as quick as you can but don’t fight the Anomaly so you don’t over-achieve, choose to join GUNI in the epilogue.

Loved the game, which was full of gold quotes that I may ss later. My only complaint is offing Shonin. How could you do my gilf so dirty? 
. Also, The Uly happy ending was way more wholesome than I thought.

If Captain is lead then Lt is most likely following him in breaching. That is what I thought was happening. I think that was the moment?!
