Nope, one ending is locked behind having bad AIU opinion. Please check before correcting other people?
It occurs through a bad result in the Ark, it is within you to decide if its good or bad. Arguably only one of the 16 endings is fully bad. Two if you don’t like ending 15th.
I think it’s meant to be like “Et tu Brute?” the thing Caesar (was it him? Edit: oh yeah it as Julius Caesar) famously said when he was betrayed by Brute (Edit: and the conspirators)
Technically, nobody is sure of his actual last words. The line “Et tu, Brute?” is most famous from Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar, but it does show up in a few earlier works as well.
That aside, it’s a Latin phrase meaning something like “And you, Brutus?” or “You too, Brutus?” and it’s something you’d say after you were betrayed to the person who betrayed you.
Funnily enough, I’ve seen speculation he actually said it in Greek rather than Latin. Think it was “Kai su” or something similar. Greek was the court language of Rome at the time.
Some actually speculate it was a curse rather than an expression of betrayal since curse tablets (basically hate male with a prayer for something bad to happen to you) sometimes had it to mean “you too shall suffer this fate”.
Brilliant! I’ve had an amazing time reading Whiskey Four. While I’m personally a fan of more gameplay intesive reads, the simple choices and lack of stats or numbers made me focus more on the story which I think was a very smart design choice.
The humor was effective, the romance was realistic and grounded, the world was intriguing and the action was thrilling. It kept me hooked for 3 days and I’m assuming for a couple more to come until I figure out all the endings and paths. When I saw the 400k I thought it would take me just a couple of hours to read it trough it all, and that was definitely an underestimation
I don’t know what the inspirations were, but I felt a lot of Tarantino and Cowboy Bebop. Also the fight scenes brought John Wick in mind, which only compliments the quality of the writing in my opinion.
Greek was viewed in Rome the same way Latin is viewed now fam
It was intellectual. It was classical. Evoking the great thinkers of antiquity. Caesar being a huge nerd and saying something in Greek as he was murdered is like someone now quoting Shakespeare.
What’s with the WP grenade meme!? What’s it supposed to do? Why do I keep seeing options for it? Is it just for show!? Look, let’s just say… hang onto it till the end. Trust me, you’ll get a Blast out of it.
