I saw it as weird and needed addressed but went on thinking. Nah, she didn’t do that. I will forget that happened that way and continue on.
It was just thinking out loud. Okay, I’ll shut up, or better yet, leave, it seems my presence is annoying others as usual. I’m sorry if I offended you in any way.
Not offended at all.
It’s just that I’ve acknowledged your point a few times already and responded in great detail. It’s important to me to respond to my readers, but it eats into my writing time. So when I see the same person reposting the same criticism that we went into detail about already, it can be frustrating.
I’m happy to engage on other topics regarding the game, but I really don’t have more to say on that particular topic. I hope you understand.
Be well. ![]()
Hi Jeffrey, fan of your work. I have a few questions to ask you.
Early on in the game, we can help out a few of our MC’s friends, like helping Jolon find his father or Kotori with his leg.
My questions are, will that have an effect later on in your story, especially in your 4th book?
And if so, if we don’t help them out early on in the story, would it be too late to do so?
Absolutely.
I’ve already written a detailed outline for book 4 and it includes continuations of both scenarios you mentioned, which will differ based on whether or not you helped them in book 3. Those are both pretty big arcs for those characters.
I see. I like where this is going.
I do have 1 minor complaint tho. I noticed that if my MC is romanced with Tiva, I immediately go help her, rather than to choose who I want to help. Kinda limits my options.
Not a big deal, but I just wanted to share my thought.
Thank you for this fantastic story/game.
The MC will always help their RO first in that chapter because it’s part of the RO story, and those incidents are usually important to the character/romance arc.
I wanted to make sure that players romancing those characters didn’t miss important character development, especially if it would make a difference in the game and moving on into the next.
Makes sense. RO’s are usually the most important characters in any COG story /j
One last thing, I don’t know where to report bugs, so I will do it here. My MC picked the enhancement serum in Book 1 and injected it. However, in the recap, it said that I didn’t.
I think it’s because I had it cured in book 2 thx to Maker.
If I find any more bugs, where do I report them?
I may be wrong but I believe you can email support@choiceofgames.com
You’re not. ![]()
Thanks for the clarification! I’m new to this forum and I don’t want to accidentally give people bad info.
Well, you’re certainly off to a good start. Welcome to the CoG community!
Anyone know if there’s a way to save Sonoma from Maker’s injection during their fight?
I wanna know this as well but it’s looking like it’s impossible
Thanks for the report! I’ll get that fixed in the next patch! ![]()
The player’s actions can save Sonoma’s life or result in her being killed, but the injection always happens. It’s necessary for her character growth into the next book if she lives.
OMG thank you for responding. I love this series so much! Cannot wait for book 4 haha no pressure or anything
Did that mean the first syrum got erased or is it still there? Should I wait to continue?
It was a minor display bug in the interactive recap–it didn’t affect anything except a blurb of text before the game starts. It doesn’t change your story. You’re all good.
“Whats wrong with you child? You’re no coward!”
“Yeah, sorry, i want to fight the ‘endless waves’ of HSM and Williams, not you two.”
Yes! There is an option to tell them two this is all a distraction from the real battle. Nice! Cause it is.
I didn’t know where else to ask this question but here sorry.
@GreekWinter during the interview in Part 2 there’s a part where I believe Ahote or someone said “Robert”.
Is that a reference to the R Kelly Gayle King interview?
If it’s not and I’m just super reaching, sorry about that.
If not, have other people realized this?
