Can anyone please confirm if the DataWeaver spirit is already available in the Urban Blight? Cause I still can’t see it even after updating the game.
So is anyone else having a problem with the hog throne Henrik Wit+Awareness check? Cause I’m failing it despite having a combined 6. I already sent a support email about it, at least I think I did.
An ancilla is one of the ranks in VtM. They’re beneath Elders in age and strength, but above a neonate in terms of power. They’ve usually lived for about a century or so and have had time to learn a high level power or two. And ya, most vamps don’t want to face a Garou, because it usually ends in them meeting final death.
according to the code, how you look at the concert, aka did you come dressed or do you need new clothes, adds another negative modifer to your total. So instead of 6 your thing counts as 5. Not only that, if Rage penalty rounds up, that makes your total a 4 (2-1/2=0.5=~1). So maybe you DONT pass afterall
I did notice in multiple areas that your clothing does affect your stats, I hadn’t considered it before until I made two different checks in the exact same part of the game (it was the very beginning when Pembe was stealing our money ) and I had the exact same levels for the stats to handle it. The persuasion option failed, but the intimidation option passed (my guess is the black clothing adds to intimation). I think it’s really neat that your clothing adds and detracts from your stats instead of just being perfectly cosmetic
I wanna ask a fun question for everyone here. If Garous were the one who managed the whole Jurassic Park operation from the start. Do y’all think they would’ve handled it better than the humans knowing what you experienced in this game so far? We can definitely count on them to handle dinosaurs easily with how powerful they are as compared to most species at least. Especially with the blessings. An Arouhn werewolf in Crinos form would’ve destroyed a t-rex and show it who’s the real alpha and what would happen if it didn’t fall in line.
So what updated? Got so far in the game and bam my whole game restarted…
enter “book of hungry name patch” in the search tab and click the patch status one.
Quick question: I kinda wanna restart because I would like to have a very specific set of contradictory gifts (wardstone, pigeon even though I vibe a lot more with search for answers and katherine) but I noticed there’s an achievement called Second Quest, is that like a new game+ mode or nah?
It’s the achievement you get at the end of the game. It’s basically when you reach a cliffhanger with the feel of something like “Well, looks like we’re gonna go on a another great big adventure!” to some degree.
What is the significance of last names? I saw someone has October, mine is January?
But I question whether what people’s choices were and why for: either killing or trying to work with the cult of fenris?
@Kestoren I think the last name is tied to your auspice? Not fully sure, but when I played a Theurge my last name was October, but when I played an Ahroun it was January.
Also I usually choose to work with the cult because spoiler: you get the Tyrsus wand and can call down to moon to smite a mf
Yeah, Auspice give you your last name, Galliard is December.
What are Philodox and Ragabash?
More. I only managed to get Hjuki at 3 dots. Hjuki is, I’m told, a major spirit, so he requires MOAR.
Is this in the first concert, during the Nin recruitment mission? I never tried that check, but I also had decent Man+Subterfuge and could not pass that check against him either. Maybe Heinrik is just that big of a deal?
Oooops.
Nah. Second Quest is an achievement you get at the very last screen. I don’t know if it’s automatic or if it requires you to pick a kind of ending that matches a chiminage that you have/generated enough points for throughout the game.
It’s tied to auspice, pretty sure. Galliard got me December, Philodox got me November.
@Akal
No Nazis allowed in my territory, don’t care if they’re Garou.
I made actual Fenris run like a little bitch instead. I am the wolf of Ragnarok, PUP! (bonus Ragnarok points: I took Squirrel gift, in which Nin eats the host of Ratatoskr. She chews. It’s hilarious.).
While the wand is a cool concept for a Fetish, there is absolutely no way anyone or anything could call down Luna from the night sky. She’s a Celestine.
You don’t use them as expandable soldiers ?, if you kill them you won’t get the weapon but will fall to the black sun labirynth courtesy of Giselle
I do, just not against New Albion. I let them blow themselves up against the Bane at Chemikon, under Nin’s stealth supervision to make sure none of them get out and minimise casualties of people who AREN’T Nazis.
Dedekind is a moron and the Black Sun Labyrinth is child’s play. I could have gotten out of it twice without breaking a sweat if I needed to.
Anyone happen to know how high your disrespect of the Litany needs to be to receive Katherine’s gift by any chance?
Not KNOW, no, but Katherine is a greater spirit, like Hjuki, so I presume she needs full disrespect in the same way he needs full respect.
In Legacy they were fetish that could do it, why not in W5?
Corax and Mokole got one but from Helios, too and - don’t remember the werewolf Tribe who got it - there was a Gift that permited you to summon an Helios avatar, and if you sacrificed permanent gnosis you could do it permament and imanent to the world…
No matter what powerful the vampire presence on a city are or powerful their elders, you do that, they all exploded, pure and simple.
So, what made W5 different?
