I really enjoyed this game. I can tell you put a lot of thought into the world building and the medieval fantasy mercenary life. I am excited to see how it develops in the future!

Also I was wondering if Abilene was a romance option and who future ROs will be?

I received an error when I was fighting the knight who was assaulting a women while I was on the way to the town. I was about to beat him and received this error

Fixed!

And yeah, I took quite some time really sit and think about how to approach this game. I’m very glad that you enjoyed it . Thanks for the motivation!

So far, there’s Abeline, Claire and Princess Bernice in terms of RO’s.

Abeline is my favourite so far. I like that you made it so we can train her

Another error:

intermission2 line 1027: Non-existent variable

‘enemy_durability’

He was at-12 hp and took potions as i fought the last knight. He healed up and i got him back to 4 hp then finished off the last knight and it moved forward like they where all defeated. So that should be a bug.

Once i got into the management it seemed like an infinite loop so i stopped after 5 days or so.

Like the concept and the prologue.

Thanks for the feedback! Oops that was an error.

The game continues at day 7, so it doesn’t loop forever. I was hoping that would give you enough time to prepare your mc for the next chapter.

I’ll fix them up and get back to you.

Okay all the errors are fixed now! I apologize for the inconvenience.

Quick question for those who’ve played so far.

During the fight scenes, did anything feel confusing or hard to follow? I’m trying to make this as smooth as possible with some game elements.

As for me, I think it’s good so far, but I’m having a bit of trouble getting to the next page, it’s stuck here:

Condition = !

You grip the handle of your Steel Sword tightly. You adopt an offensive posture. . .

You fall down on one knee, gasping for air. Sweat burns your eyes. Your body stings.

You grunt, eyes half-closed. No! Not yet! You brace against your Steel Sword.

You have something to prove. You have to show him that you’re capable. You can’t give up yet. Not yet.

Your legs tremble as you raise yourself up. Pain rings through your joints! You fall back down.

“Gah!”

Caesar stops and stares at you disappointingly. He shakes his head, then sheaths his sword.

“That’s enough. You can’t defeat me. And you don’t have what I takes to lead the company.”

Oh that’s not an error. This leads into the next intermission which I haven’t uploaded as yet.

If you don’t mind, what were your stats leading up to this fight? It seems Caesar beat you soundly :joy:

I’m currently using a cheat mode for testing purposes anyway so I’m not the one to boast.

They feel smooth for the most part, except when enemies drop to 0 HP they still stay in and are able to heal and attack me and stuff. Does that mean they sould be dead or they are just injured?

I was also confused which stat is related to our MC getting tiring and having to catch their breath.

I always lose against the 5 knights during the priestesses of Gaia quest so I have to keep grinding

Ooops :joy: that’s an error. They shouldn’t be healing at 0HP. They should be :skull_and_crossbones: or defeated. I’ll fix the code.

The catch your breath option is for your stamina to dogde/block/use advanced attacks.

Maybe I might’ve made the difficulties too high .

Here’s a little tip on the enemy stats. They increase each chapter, so you can use this guide to know how far to train your MC.

Around ch1 they enemies stats are 1 - 20

Ch2 10 - 30

Ch3 20 - 40

Ch4 30 - 50

Ch5 40 - 60

Endgame 50 - 70+

Also, I haven’t seen anyone complain about the rate the MC dies of hunger so I’ll assume that that’s okay.

Oh, depending on your MC’s combat type you’ll find more gains in that stat when training.

Strongarm = Boosts strength training gains

Quicksilver = Boosts speed training gains

Tank = Boots durability training gains

I’m also working on adding combat type traits to help out with the fights when you’re in a pinch.

Hey just wanted to say awesome game, loving it and keep up the fantastic work, but when I fought Cesar I still got my butt whooped despite having 100 in every stat thanks to a little uh…..exploit that I found. Also I was just wondering about two things, what does meditation do, and how to replenish your stamina?

Hey thanks lots! I’m glad you enjoyed it! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

That’s an error. I just fixed it! Now if you beat Caesar you get the correct outcome.

You wanna know what meditation does? It’s a secret. Continue and you’ll find out :smiling_face_with_horns:.

The stamina replenishes on each day.

Hey my friend I think you should take a look at estheria:a realm divided because the author doing some grand work for the system of the game maybe it will give you inspiration for upgrading the system for your story

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll take a look at it.

I’m working on adding a female option to this game since I’m not that far into it where it’d be tedious.
