@Balrog_Demorgothe yeah that a classic archtype but what I like the way she struggle between what she truly want and the fact that she can’t trust anyone since her own parents have use her as their human weapon

oh yeah, i get it, i wasn’t saying it was bad or anything, classics are classics for a reason
I wasn’t implying that you said it was bad just saying what I like about the character and yeah classic are there because they work well if you do it right. But all the origin story of the characters are great they all have their own struggle, fear, weakness, qualities, moralities, that can appeal to the readers

What I love about the MC’s shadow power is how much it reminds me of Clan Lasombra from Vampire the Masquerade and the clan’s signature powerset Obtenebration.
I imagine the MC being a similar vessel of unnatural darkness, manifested in their unearthly shadow generation/manipulation. 
…and of course Jackie Estacado from The Darkness by Top Cow comics.

I see my MC more like Jackie Estacado but whithout the drawback of his powers that actually is a primordial being. I wouldn’t like to see my MC to have a twisted being in his head but it could be possible since Timmi have eyes that change when she begin to use her powers
Well, he COULD have one after all, in the ‘yourself’ dream, you have a copy of you who clearly states that once the darkness destroy everything, you’ll be useless to it, as if the darkness and the olther you are seperate entity from you
Oh yeah I just reread that part I didn’t take it like that at first but more like the MC was afraid of losing is sanity. But the voice he didn’t reconise is in fact quite an indice that Darkness could be more than a power
I for one welcome my omnicidal overlord after all just because I’m destroying the universe doesn’t mean I can’t feed a lovecraftian Eldritch horror from beyond the stars in the process
I don’t know why but it doesn’t surprise me 
but it would be even better to kill that horror and made the power your own. Because he clearly want to kill you and fellow mutants wich doesn’t really goes with your MC’s ideal she wants all human to be dead but not necesseraly all mutants too
My MC goal
Kill all humans, mutants, animals, plants, insects, bacteria, single cell organisms, matter

Oh sorry yeah in that case that thing lurking in the darkness is the closest thing your MC’s could considerate worth letting live and I have doubt about that after all she’s treatening her view of utopia
Once the world’s ended I can face it. If it destroys me I get Oblivion if I destroy it i get my empty eternal night Utopia. Win win
Yeah that’s true if everyone died before it kill you, you’ve won whatever happen afterward and if you kill it well that even more perfect. I must say there’s more to gain if you go omnicide even the creature in the darkness would be more easily deal with if it can’t use others against you
I’ll have my own shadowlings make a statue to commemorate the day I became a world killer then dispel them
